From 1 January 2021, eBay will be legally required to begin collecting and remitting VAT for UK imports. From that date, eBay will have to charge buyers the applicable VAT amount directly and remit this sum to the relevant authorities. Irish sellers trading with UK buyers and listing on the UK or any EU site will need to provide both gross prices as well as the applicable VAT rate used to calculate the gross price on all listings. If sellers do not specify gross prices and VAT rates, eBay will have to assume that the price provided is the net price, and will add VAT on top of the price displayed to buyers.

They have landed in London so I reckon early next week with MM and then towards the end of the week with retailers Hip Hip.....
-
Looks like they are shifting old stock, had some older kits previously and they came in those cardboard boxes rather than the newer blue box that they come in now

I think the action is against the Spanish seller, Also 2 other companies who used the same manufacturer were stung similarly
-
Some lads from the SDMRC on this forum, hopefully one should contact you Over the 5km for me but if nothing bad happens before the end of level 5 I might wander over that far Hate crossing the Liffey!!!
-
Girls To the best of my knowledge MM has taken legal action against the Spanish seller The items that were for sale were supplied by the original manufacturer in breach of contract Basically the manufacturer made more models than were ordered and sold them on to a third party They were not bought from someone going out of business So these items are the property of MM Anyone who bought them from the Spanish seller may have to return them to MM, so not the bargain they appeared tp be. Caveat emptor!!!

How would you guys rate Irish Railways Traction & Travel by Peter Jones I have a second edition, 1989, with black & white & colour photos Very comprehensive sections on all locos and coaching stock, including DMU's & Darts One downside is that there is no freight section
