Girls To the best of my knowledge MM has taken legal action against the Spanish seller The items that were for sale were supplied by the original manufacturer in breach of contract Basically the manufacturer made more models than were ordered and sold them on to a third party They were not bought from someone going out of business So these items are the property of MM Anyone who bought them from the Spanish seller may have to return them to MM, so not the bargain they appeared tp be. Caveat emptor!!!

MM stuff does not go back to the UK man, he distributes it from here, he usually drops my bits off on his way back from the Airport!

For the last time people it is highly unlikely that either of these models will be re released by MM. We have gone over this a dozen times so I will not repeat the math involved but unless another manufacturer gets involved they will not be coming out any time soon

Some good news Bob Hopefully the Black & IR ones should ship this weekend and the remainder first week in December everything going well. Possible delays getting them to the retailers depending on the COVID situation but there definitely will be something to put under the Christmas tree

What is derailing? Locos coaches wagons? Is it just one item or does everything derail? Back to back measurements might help But as Eoin says if its Hornby points its a common problem

As an aside to the joke in '78 I was working in the Ordnance Survey ( a junior cartographer, no less) in the Phoenix Park One morning on my way in I noticed 2 trucks with a load of turf mold in each They tipped it all over the road and began to level it out At lunch time we came out to see Mr Connery & the lovely Lesley Ann Downes riding down the newly covered road on their horses, so now I always look out for turf mold on roadways in pictures that were set back in the day!

Lima offered this set to MM, he took it thinking it was a set that would have run together, remember at the time he was a retailer, not the font of knowledge he is now! He got some stick when the set became available and I think that set him on the path to make the current series of finely detailed MM models we see today.
