  1. Hi Gareth, Because the wagon is mainly diecast it has taken longer than usual for the alterations, but they are done now. Production has begun and we expect them in stock in mid September. Cheers! Fran
  2. Lovely space Jason, great to see it come together!
  3. Now that’s the job! Superb!
  4. I’d contact the seller on EBay and inform him of the issue if you just bought it, especially if he described it as perfect working order or similar. Best bet after that is to email Murphy Models who may have spares and / or help you out. If you have no joy there contact marks models as they do repairs. However, I think the EBay seller is your first port of call.
  5. We've started doing a few of these for Accurascale. If we can get reliable info like above we might do some on the stock we're making (prototypically accurate, of course!)
  6. Exactly, it's to promote fair competition and provide better results for citizens. Very simple, nothing more.
  7. Hi @ttc0169, a little later than billed, but hope you like! cheers! Fran
  8. Will do tomorrow Noel!
  9. Heat wrapped I think?
  10. Hi gang, Having the craic with the flat and containers in the liner yard on the new office layout (more from that soon!) We had to make a few alterations to the sample as you can probably work out, but production continues and they will be with us in the coming weeks. Obviously you like liners as much as we do, as these are the fastest selling wagons we have done to date. Cheers for that! If you fancy some this is the link to click! https://irishrailwaymodels.com/collections/container-liners Remember, it's any 4 packs for €375 and all 5 packs for €460. And yes, we are doing the CIE 20ft container as a separate item. More news on prices etc soon! Cheers! Fran
  11. Hi! Do you have a link to the original article please? Cheers! Fran
  12. Very nice DJ, you’re not based in the Galápagos Islands by any chance, are you?
  13. Looks very well in IRM towers now!
  14. Amazing to see that our first loco project, the A Class, is over 20% sold out already! We are due a first tooling sample in mid September, and we think it will be evident at how special these beauties will be then! As you can see below, it's going to be well worth the wait!
  15. Hi, can you email us at support@irishrailwaymodels.com about this issue so we can look into it? Cheers!
  16. correct!
  17. Hi everyone, While we were off air we got a sample of our CIE 20ft containers. We are assessing them at the moment and have some amendments to make, but moving in the right direction! We will have better pics once I get the sample back off our technical director! Cheers! Fran
  18. As Jason says above, these would be the ivory liveried bubbles, painted in that livery from around 1980 and stayed in that livery until the were withdrawn in 2008. We have evidence of 6 with Irish cement logos while the rest carried the CIE roundels all the way to 2008. Every bubble we have done in that livery with the CIE logo had it at withdrawal as we used pictures from around that time for reference. The Irish cement logo is very popular (and does look great) but the CIE roundel was far more numerous. The original grey livery was 1964 until the early 70s, replaced by orange from the early 70s which was then replaced by ivory in the early 80s. Orange would have run mixed with both liveries as they overlapped. Hope this helps! Cheers Fran
  19. We are looking at the possibility of doing the pallets as an accessory item, watch this space. You could take off the two strakes at the top to access them but do so at your own risk!
  20. Here's a preview of the deco of the pallets! As explained above, they pallets were wrapped in plastic with branding on them, and that's what our model will replicate! Cheers! Fran
  21. Also, here is the deco for the 4 packs Cheers! Fran
  22. Hi Pops, We did look at opening doors but the mechanism on the real ones (they slid back into the partitions of the wagon when opened!) was just too complex and cost prohibitive to do in OO, so they are fixed. They were introduced in 1974 and withdrawn in 2003 (hard to believe it's 16 years ago!) I'm sure we will have stock of these in 2020 so you can get them with next years budget! Every compartment will come loaded, they could be removed but we would urge caution around that and not really recommend it! Thanks for the comments everyone! Fran
  23. The bags will indeed be decorated. I think we have decoration for them sorted but will let you know if we need it, cheers!
  24. You know us and a bundle deal John! Most certainly! Not yet but in and around liner prices!
  25. Thanks! We are looking at 8 different running numbers over 4 packs of two wagons.
