  1. I'm sure everybody here knows of course, but Irish Railway Models is wagons, not vehicles! As reported elsewhere, our highly anticipated ballast wagons will be available to buy and pre orders will be available for collection provided we receive plenty of prior notice and proof of purchase and photo ID is provided on the day. We're really looking forward to the show and seeing you there!
  2. I think it will be after April 9th Dave but if they do arrive beforehand we will touch base. Thanks for the very kind offer!
  3. Hi Noel, Yes, people who selected for 'Exhibtion/Show Pick-up' email us at info[at]irishrailwaymodels.com and request a postage quote. If you would like to change your delivery option from exhibition pick-up to post/courier, get in touch and we will organise for you to pay the additional cost through our online facility. As for your second query it's too early to confirm but it is what we'll be aiming to do. Please remember that we are doing this in our spare time, we will be checking each box for QC issues and signing them off for dispatch too so it will take a little while to work through the back log. We literally have hundreds of parcels and orders to organise! It will be done on a 'first order, first delivery' basis with the earliest customers getting their packs posted or dropped to them first. We will also be contacting those with outstanding payments in the coming days to complete their purchases.
  4. Hi Popeye, a print out of your order email will do!
  5. Get well soon man!
  6. Cheers Noel! I've always had a soft spot for the HSTs, even though they've now lost their Paxman's and been re-engined. Was delighted to enjoy a short trip back from Slough on one on Friday as it could well be my last trip on one. It's successor was in Paddington when I arrived on Friday on a test run but had pulled out by the time I got the camera out. Would've had more pics of action north of the Thames around my old stomping ground as well as freight but it was a trip with the little lady so gricing was kept to a minimum!
  7. Just back from a short visit to my former home town of London where I managed to bag a few pics of an old time fave, the HST. Might be of interest to some! 43182 Paddington by franburke, on Flickr
  8. Ah Noel, a Supertrain A with matching Mark IIs would beg to differ for me. It looked superb. I am a fan of the IR era mind you!
  9. Well there's 071 in fairness!
  10. Hi Jim, we are indeed working on project 4 (and project 5, 6 and 7 are also underway with other irons in the fire!) but we want to get them to a certain level before announcing them to the public so you guys have less waiting time before delivery. At the moment we have the ballasts in production, bubbles to get made and the tooling for the Tara's is currently being cut. It's a busy time for us on top of our day jobs but things are now moving at a swifter pace since we went directly to a factory in China. Also, some of the projects above may get dropped out of the sky, no announcement until they're on the high seas. Keep an eye on the site for updates folks. You never know what news you may find out of the blue in the coming weeks and months
  11. Looks excellent John. Well done!
  12. Hi Jim, is this the one you mean? http://www.studio-scale-models.com/Brake30.shtml You can buy the kit directly from Studio Scale Models.
  13. Absolutely. A terrible tragedy.
  14. I think Railtec would be your best bet since they provided the decals for the article. Might be holding off putting them out on general release to gauge demand..
  15. Great info and pics there men. Have to say I love the plough vans. Make for a lovely model in themselves.
  16. True, we've displayed a terrible cavalier attitude to this thread.
  17. Thanks! Ah sure it's horses for Corsas.
  18. Wasn't the GM of the car world an Opel up until Monday??
  19. Well, this conversation has escalated quickly! Can we keep things respectful please folks? Condescending attitudes and backseat modding are not welcome. So, please keep it civil and if everyone can play by the rules we can leave it open. Thanks!
  20. Lovely ploughs Dave. They really look good in model form!
  21. You weren't expecting injection moulded plastic, were you? These are finest Belgian chocolate sir!
  22. Hi Everyone, We received the following pics from our factory overnight; pics of our Ballast Wagons! Are you as excited as we are?? The finishing line is in sight. Remember; you can still order pack B and C direct from us at http://www.irishrailwaymodels.com but they're selling fast! Thanks to everyone who has placed an order with us and supported Irish Railway Models from the start. This would not be happening without you!
  23. Hi everyone, Just a quick note to say that we respond to all customer emails, but our responses can end up in your spam/junk email folder. If you have emailed us recently and are waiting for a response, please check your spam folder. Thanks!
  24. Thanks for the pics, Noel. They confirm what I wanted to know.
  25. As you may have seen elsewhere, you can now order our wagons through Marks Models too! You'll have to act fast though; they're selling well and are in limited supply! We think it looks right at home in that sea of orange paint!
