  1. The loksound decoders of the 141/181 are no longer available as far as I know. The Belfast model shop do sell them on a different chip.
  2. Shockingly fantastic.
  3. I fear Galway could be in for a backlash today, however if Galway turn up to Kikennys level of intensity anything can happen.
  4. Welcome to the site Horsetan, and I hope you keep us updated on your build. It looks just the ticket for the man shed on dark Winters nights.
  5. .Thats Brilliant Des-I cant wait to get mine.I have a blueline sd9 chassis spare which runs very well. The photo of the loco body looks impressive, and brass detail top notch.
  6. Very tasty Dave, and I love the livery.
  7. Why is 146 so wanted at the moment Dave?,is it because its the only 141 that can be viewed in motion in downpatrick?. I had hoped to get 146 myself as it was the last loco to travel on the Ballinacourty branch in 1990,however I might get one of my IR locos renumbered in the future.
  8. I hope you will be back to full health soon Rich, and keep the head up.
  9. Jesus that is stunning, the helix looks great and your work is showing how much you have put into it.
  10. She looks nice in the correct shade of blue, well done bud.

  12. Good stuf, glad you got sorted out.
  13. Thanks for the comments guys.I plan to start back at the attick at the end of September and get the layout going again.

    Old news

Old and slow trains replaced-the Rosslare line has shown no improvement in journey time dispite New stock, track, signalling, and in fact the journey time in 1985 from Wexford to Enniscorthy was faster with Park Royals and jointed track!.If I was going to be in a accident at the moment on IE I would not like to be in a railcar by the sounds of it.
  15. Mike Oldfield -Two sides-The best of Mike Oldfield.Top notch stuff and worth having in the collection.
  16. Yes you right as i made my own adjustments but cutting to get things to fit good god give me a mk3 EGV anyday. As regards a career move, you could be on to something:-bd
  17. I have just finished a Wills PO kit that I converted to a an post Post Office. This is my first time using a wills kit and to be honest found it a fecker to build as everything has to be cut and is in no way superquick.Anyway its done now and I am happy with the result along with the tardis-sorry phone box with a vexed couple having a row.So for all your stamps and parcels call to Redmonds Post Office.
  18. I have to agree,outstanding photos.
  19. Great stuff, and best of luck with this venture.I will get some cement wagons in the new year when the 071 expensive calms down.
  20. I may have a look but am nearly sure she does not have traction tyres. The Deltic chassis is a nice runner and a vast improvement on the old lima pancake I have in SF 001 which drives me mad with poor running.
  21. I am glad my cameraman skills are better Shem, and I hope I am doing the A class sound proud with these videos. If I am up your way in the future I will bring A39 up to give her a run on your layout.
  22. Yes you are right that is a steel block on that photo as it came from another SF 001 loco.Anthony is right as regard lead because I tryed the loco on a friends layout that has a incline and she struggled big time with a small load. The loco ran fine as you can see in the latest video as I have a flat surface. At some stage in the future I may add more weight.Anthony did tell me the extra weight makes a big difference as he has some cracking inclines on his layout.
  23. I forgot to ask PM what DCC chip will the new 071s take?. Did anyone else ask him?.
  24. Watch him sprint up Mt Ventoux-incredible stuff when we know how he did it.Even Phil Liggett says he has never seen anything like the power!. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXPXHK7I1iQ&feature=related
