  2. Yes Eamonn-I've the prodigy ordered and I'm expecting it during the week, The carpenter is due tomorrow with the new sections-so I'll have a busy week, Many thanks Shinkansen for your comments about the layout,Give David a call-he is an absolute gentleman to deal with-don't bother with altering a 158,you won't be sorry with the quality of the 2600's-which have a DCC socket on board also,I'll post up more photos of the 2600's for you. Thanks hidden agenda-I plan to relocate those containers in the refurbished Tara Jctn..
  3. WOW-Getting better with every photo-excellent detail..
  4. Tara jctn is undergoing a small rebuilding at the"West"end at the moment-and also being converted to DCC operation, I'll post more photos of the finished layout over the next few weeks.
  5. Thats great about the kadee coupler David, just like the real thing-Would it be possible for you to make the coaches a little heavier than your normal coach? My reason for asking is that I have found that when any of my Mk4 coaches were being pushed around my layout by 201s,the coach behind the loco used to derail a lot particularly on curves,After experimenting with different coaches behind the loco I eventually found that by adding some weight to the coach actually helped to keep it on the rails-and no more derailments.
  6. Nice work there Anthony well done-very realistic.
  7. Usual high standard there David-well done,I love the opening door-and have no doubts that the livery when applied will be top class,I'll be in touch. Your 2600's were excellent and I'm very happy with mine.
  8. Morning lads, I'd highly recommend this book if you intend to model the 1970-1990s era of CIE/IR, I like the photos of the single 121 in Athenry and Oranmore, The track plans at the back pages of the book is also very useful, The Knock specials at Claremorris along with the line up of M and C class buses are also interesting.
  9. Great looking site-well done lads, best of luck with it.
