It’s a full house at the junction on this bank holiday Monday, A splash of black and orange with a hint of tanker white thrown in as the 08:40 Shelton abbey to Marino point laden ammonia train passes through.

Another new and welcome arrival at the MPD is Class 40-40 012 Aureol. it is seen here in the company of a class 37,50 and two back to back class 43s

Friday evening sees 071 class locomotives,071,072,076,077,078,080,and 083 being prepared for weekend infrastructure and freight liner work at the MPD on Tara junction, 2600 railcar 2607+2608 is also in attendance receiving some interior and engine / generator work taking place. — at Tara Junction Station

David, I would certainly agree with you there, I remember seeing a 4mm radio controlled loading shovel at an industrial/aggregates themed modern image layout at the Warley exhibition two years ago,it worked well loading the fine sand into a rail wagon-let’s hope that a reach stacker could do something similar with containers in the future.

Early morning sees locomotives 126+132 arrive at Lakeview freight yard with a laden bogie BELL liner from Bellview port. The reach stacker is seen unloading the 30’ BELL bulk container.
