When fitting the vacuum brake pipe, ensure it is the right way up-not as seen in the photo....the circular dummy plug is always located to the bottom.

Happy Christmas to all fellow modellers ,here's to a fantastic 2020 for Irish railway modellers, A final round up at the junction...the postman has collected the last of the Christmas mail from the TPO at the station, 083.077.071 and 080 receive attention at the MPD prior to the Christmas shutdown. Retro 073 arrives at the Lakeview freight deport with the last IWT liner of the year.

The containers are push fit, and not glued to the container lugs. Gents-regarding the container lugs-or "spuds "as they were locally known is it possible for them to be supplied as an extra in a packet of six to eight?, there is a recess on the frame of the wagons where these were always stored. Thanks

Unfortunately not, I think they have ceased trading a while back, they were superbly built models and I am still delighted with mine.

A present day look at what can be achieved with the superb IRM bogie liner wagons and the equally fantastic range of containers from C-Rail.... To bring the scene right up to date with the fantastic IRM 42' bogie wagons here we see retro liveried locomotive 073 hauling a 12 bogie wagon fully loaded liner with some modern day containers through Tara junction station.....

With the welcome increase in container liner business traffic, the Lakeview freight yard welcomed its extra liner train last night, consisting of BELL & B&I lines containers, Here we see locomotives 183+156 arrive at Lakeview with the liner and run around the liner, after unloading and reloading took place locomotive 073 arrived fresh from the MPD to work the liner back to Waterford, Anyway pictures speak louder than words......enjoy-as much as I am..... Thanks to the lads at IRM

I remember that day very well I worked as the train guard on that particular day....it was a warm and sunny and it was the first time that bar coach 1508 worked the Ballina branch train, Thanks for posting Stephen- useful information. -
