  1. Everything is right about this layout, thanks for posting.
  2. It's the GNR(I) SG loco
  3. What a fantastic collection and how difficult the decision it must have been to part with. I suppose with all that extra cash you will replace it with another collection that is of course if there is anything out there you have not already got?
  4. Picked this up at the Glasgow Show from Tony Wright who was building brass locomotives + lots of good tips from him. It's just what I needed to ensure the chassis was in alignment, it's one of Weshty's SSM kits.
  5. The PW Stable is growing, yes please to a video.
  6. An excellent show, added to it was the meeting up of friends/Site Members. Some pictures of my highlights:
  7. Thanks George, that's good to know. I have a Weller and removing the tips is a nightmare so when a replacement is due I'll go for a Antex.
  8. Cattle Movements on Kirley Junction. After Fair Day Cattle were moved to a nearby Cattle Pens for loading. Ex S2 Class GNR 192,now UTA 63 backs onto the Cattle Wagons. Movement out of the siding. Across the level Crossing just before Kirley Junction Station. Enters the Station in very bright sunshine, sorry for the poor picture quality. Passengers starting to notice the 'aroma' wafting down the platform. They are wondering how long will it take to pass through the Station.
  9. No Plassers then.
  10. Any update Walter?
  11. Latest movements on Kirley Junction covering many eras.
  12. Your hard stand look great, well done.
  13. Barl -I used LNER lining from Modelmaster, GRS800 - used conduit piping for the firebox.
  14. White metal bits supplied by Weshty which I think made a big difference to the models. One part I was worried about was the whistle but it worked out OK.
  15. Just finished an S Class and a S2 Class locomotive. From this to this And from this to this Hope to have some pictures up on Kirley Junction soon.
  16. I suppose the first thing to do Patrick is to remove the body and see what type of motor is fitted. It's most likely a Mashima motor, is it not running at all? If not then test all the wiring is intact and put some power direct to the motor to see if it turns. It maybe a case of some light lubrication and running it on a rolling road for an hour or so. It that does not work then open heart surgery may be the only option.
  17. Interesting approach Eamonn, looking forward to seeing it in action.
  18. Good to see activity on Amiens Street again, and me thinking you lost your mojo 2015, must have been distracted in another direction.
  19. The only list I can find is from 2004 extract from Traction & Travel
  20. Thanks for sharing Stephen, she's an under scale all singing, all dancing beast.
  21. IR Arrow Railcar Set, respray from Class 158 but it's still going to Norwich. http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Irish-rail-two-car-set-2700-class-/262274566471?
  22. Thanks Richie, nice job on the 07-16 Tamper. It seems only the next series, 08-16 Tamper is available in kit form now.
  23. Thanks Noel, it's some beast!
  24. Thanks Richie, on the DCKits site they mention 2 models, the Plasser 08-16 C80RT and C100-RT Tamping Machine. Which one is closest to one to the Irish prototype?
