  1. I'm sure you have seen Colm Flanagan's "Stranraer Coleraine and Donaghadee Railway" layout on the RM Web. Looking forward to seeing your multi location layout.
  2. Any ideas on CIE lorry livery 1958 for my AEC Mercury?
  3. Still working on the Yard. I decided to have a local control point just for the Yard and am using the old pin and stud method for the points. I also added another backdrop panel behind the Loco Shed to block the view of Kirley Junction Station behind it. Still have to get a suitable picture to add to it.
  4. I had a go at making some Artic Cabs, an AEC Mercury and a ERF E Series supplied by Road Transport Images. As I know nothing about lorries it's been a bit of a learning curve.
  5. Good luck on your project - not an easy one!
  6. "Departing Limerick for Galway" - good shots of freight wagons for two thirds of this video. http://viralvideos.mobi/video/p_MrUwtnnFE/Departing-Limerick-for-Galway-HD.html
  7. Great job on the level crossing gates
  8. That's defiantly worth a try, that's for the tip Eamonn I've ordered a pack from the Netherlands, £4.36 including postage.
  9. Now I go back to this thread the pictures are there... puzzled!
  10. I take it there is photographs with these posts but I'm not seeing them?
  11. Glazing and spraying completed. Now waiting on decals before a little bit of light weathering.
  12. Here's what my Daughter and Grandchildren got me for my "shed". Not sure about the badge though.
  13. Thanks for the update Noel and seasonal greetings (and with that name is a birthday close?)
  14. Great pictures, thanks for sharing.
  15. I used Evostick Timebond and as many clamps as I could fit on. The difficult area is between the doors and the roof as the amount of doner coach is so thin it's hard to get a good bond.
  16. Good to see the Sulzer working again.
  17. Working of some Cement Bubbles and a Parcel Van. I was lucky to get the last of a run of Cement Bubbles, the resin body was supplied but you had to provide the chassis so I used the Dapol C043 kits. I got 10 but now I wish I got more but they are all gone now. I had asked Allen Doherty (Worsley Works) to do me coach sides for a NIR Parcel Van and he eventually got round to it. These van were converted from MPD Units and I think each one was different. This is it the priming stage, filling to do.
  18. That's great for a first go, well done.
  19. Clonmel behind bars!
  20. Thanks Nigel, especially about the additional delivery costs, which makes these models quite expensive. Please put up some pictures of your progress please and I would welcome an over all assessment of the models given the cost.
  21. Wow! You must never sleep at the rate you are posting your conveyer belt productions. I am no good at looking at an Irish Loco and matching it to a British one and am delighted at the numbers you have identified. I will follow your thread with interest as I would be tempted to have a go at some of your conversions some day. My concern in doing conversions is will they “run”? I have done wagons in the past which ended up as unsatisfactory and am wondering when you move into adapting Loco wheel layouts, getting them to run satisfactorily over points/curves could be a real challenge. Please don’t take this comment as criticism of your projects. I think the work you are doing is innovative in both the methods and materials you are using. Looking forward to seeing the finished models.
  22. Great photographs, thanks John
  23. Good to see things are ticking over at GVSt.
