  1. Busy time at the Goods Shed with lots going on. With the current warm spell the vegetation at Clonmel has sprouted. Cement Trains running through. JCB coming off the Low-loader. A short video clip showing the action.
  2. Will there be end stanchions for the beet wagon kits?
  3. There's a great feel to those bridges and stone work.
  4. Looking good Eamonn, any chance of doing a video of A39 in action to hear how she sounds?
  5. I’m slowly building up my stock of Curtain Side Cement Wagons.
  6. Good luck on your layout, it's good to base it on a real location so you can copy what's already there and it ends up more realistic.
  7. Well done Nelson, some excellent work with the potential to hit an even higher level. Watched your work on RM Web and for someone so young to achieve such a good standard bodes well for the future. Perhaps this thread may sit better in the Workbench section as I'm sure there is more to come.
  8. Thanks for your comments and advice George. However the Station is still a work in progress. Glenderg is currently building the main Station building and I will use it (as shown in the photo below) together with the clearance of my highest Loco as the level for the footbridge. A piece of useless trivial that I learned from my visit to Clonmel was that the steps of this footbridge used to faced the other way.
  9. Night scene at Clonmel - was it ever so busy?
  10. Thanks for the information, Richie those photographs are excellent, I've spent the last 40 mins lost in a wonderful world.
  11. Thanks JCH for the above Epistle, very informative. In your Special Vehicles paragraph you mention Cement bubbles but omit the curtain sided Cement Wagon. I know the body was painted blue but what colour was the underframe? I have looked for detailed photographs of these wagons without success.
  12. I never heard of Kibri bridges before, they really look well. With all these bridges and the massive viaduct you are planning it's going to be some layout. Looking forward to seeing its progress.

    Sligo Bus

Can any of you Bus Experts tell me the Make, Type, Service years, etc. of this bus and is there a model of it available?
  17. Great pictures, I have seen them before but lost the link. Now with basic photographic programmes like Picasa you can lighten the image to see even more detail.
  18. Who is the manufacturer of your Class 80 kit?
  19. Thanks Guy's
  20. What size (width) should the white line on the edge of a platform be, I've painted one and feel it's too wide. They can't agree either! Any answers please?
  21. Thanks for posting L. Erne, great piece of nostalgia.
  22. Progressing well, looking forward to the next instalment.
  23. Like your level crossing gates, great detail.
  24. I can say from experience superb models. More pictures please from your production line.
  25. Really atmospheric and evocative of that era. It's great to see modelling of that time so well portrayed.
