Can anyone help with dating this signal lamp? I believe it is after 1935 based on the brass name plate though an earlier design.
Were these used in Ireland?
I think the work IRM and Paddy Murphy have done has created / demonstrated a viable market with loyal collectors. The range of models available, especially the recent A Class has been a game changer.
When I asked Paddy he said hopefully sometime next year but the manufacturer has warned of production challenges.
These will appear before the MK3 as the driver cab is proving a real challenge.

Plan, I was told, is to increase the number of coaches per train and allow some sets to be released onto other routes.
Would anyone know the origin of the marking on the Wexford quays? I have heard it once marked the joining point of the DSER and the Fishguard harbour railway from Rosslare port to Wexford. Any truth in this?
