Such an incredible video, not bad quality for the age and lots of interesting locations to be seen, including Newry & Ardee on the GN and Barnagh on the North Kerry. Many more too!

Mine are due for delivery tomorrow….. I ordered the four pack of dark green vehicles and will be particularly interested to see how these match with A46. I know there was a great variety of shades of the same colour due to age, weathering and various other factors, but it would be nice if they were pretty close! Black & tan full brake coming too, if it hasn’t disappeared….

Nice David! The earthworks for that siding are still clearly visible on Google Earth. Am a big fan of outdoor photography for model railways, and I am reminded of this shot I took of Capecastle:

It's probably the only English station I know well thanks to work trips to UWL but it certainly doesn't look like that now!

Open - for buses, for now. First impressions: huge, spacious, modern, plenty of staff on hand to assist. Could probably do with more seating though, but maybe that’s on the to do list. Congratulations to all involved. PS. I still prefer GNR(I) architecture……

In the interests of balancing insanity with something more normal, here is a simple ‘stock box’ which I made from foam board to store my GNR passenger stock. The material is very light and easily cut, and can be stuck to itself using neat PVA glue. The finished box would not be strong enough to be carried on its own, rather the intention is that this and future similar boxes would themselves be carried inside a much sturdier plastic box.
