    Dutch Van

    Absolutely stunning piece of craftsmanship , very well done. the Dutch van is a personal favourite of mine for some reason they just look neat, now if only I could get my hands on one?. great job
  2. Very nice build, well done, like the colour as well. can I ask did you use tamiya acrylic spray or brush paint the wagons. maybe you will post more photos if you weather the wagons . cheers John.

What a great video , the layout is fantastic and what about those ballasts superb, made the mistake of showing the video to the Mrs , naturally she counted the number Of ballast wagons, then the million dollar question how many do you have, nearly choked on me morning coffee made some excuse and changed the subject , close one. Btw the plough vans really set the scene.

Hi tony, Thanks for the kind comments,we will definitely get a coffee next show, It's a great idea if it's okay with the mods at a show to have a designated Table so forum members have the choice to engage or not, reading what some members Put up the knowledge they have to share would be great , as I cannot write what I really Want to get across and listening to someone face to face would make a difference on how They do things. hope it happens.   11. Only now getting to look at my ballast wagons, They are absolutely fantastic looking. I said it before but it merits saying again, To the four lads involved in IRM , You have done an incredible job on every stage of this project, with long hours and taking a chance, I most definitely will be supporting Your other projects as well. Thank you very much.
  12. Had a great day myself and the grandson at the show Saturday , left tralee at 5.40 am got back at 9.30 last night. Got my ballast wagons fantastic had good craic with Fran & Patrick ,two gents. also got my double beet wagons from Leslie another gent, and Leslie thank you very much for being so Kind to peter my grandson. great to see dave ( baseboards) looking well, and mr bracken as well Would like to have met more from the forum but do not know any body else,thanks to every one who made the show possible.   13. Thanks for getting back about the paints Kieran, that does seem an easier option Than cleaning airbrushs for a small job and just as effective . Hope to maybe meet you at Bangor show.

  15. What a difference the painting made, they look class, can I ask what shade of brown you used And type of paint ( enamel or acrylic ). really nice looking wagons, must make a start on mine.
