  1. Well, in 2017, there will be RTR Ballast Wagons, Cement Bubbles and Tara Mines Wagons and one other surprise project. In 2018, there will be at least 4 more. Perhaps it took a few years to get up to speed, but the technology and the market is evolving fast and it's amazing what's now possible and the timeframes they are possible in!
  2. https://irishrailwaymodels.com Check out our new photos, you can now examine all three packs in great detail ! Small number of pack A still available - all stocks running low!
  3. They all do - just install the App on your device (search the store for the publication name) and you can buy Digital single editions and browse through back copies.
  4. Hi Mark, They tend to be held on with glue. Run a scalpel or thin blade around the base of the chassis and you should be good!
  5. Thanks for all the overwhelming support guys! It has been an absolute privilege working with Fran, Pat and Richie on this so far, and the results of the dedication and passion over the last two years, I think, speak for themselves. We're working away on the Bubble production, getting the Tara lined up and a great deal more exciting projects on the roadmap! The best is yet to come! Stephen
  6. Hi Ninja, You can see the poster confirmed the Item SOLD in July of last year. Please resist reviving old, closed posts.
  7. Keep well Heirflick!
  8. Cheers Rich, they are a tribute to the long, unpaid and to date 'behind the scenes' work of the whole team, for whom this is very much a labour of love and faith! What we can achieve and the support received tho, means that these, the bubbles and Tara's are merely the beginning!
  9. Lovely shots Rich, they look right at home
  10. A cheeky shot of our three packs... very small numbers left - get yours now at http://www.irishrailwaymodels.com
  11. Lovely layout Kirley - are there plans for a replacement up there?
  12. Wow Wrenn - such evocative catalogues!
  13. Very very clever indeed Paddy - thanks so much for sharing such a great resource!\ Now, about DCC
  14. Kirley, your realism just keeps getting better and better - I had to double take that first photo wasn't the real thing!!
  15. Tony, you've made a stunning start and, it's fair to say, most modellers hit the doldrums from time to time. With a layout like yours you can get a long from the detailing, building in little scenes, perhaps lighting, wiring, animations, etc, as well as the trains moving about themselves..
  16. Hope you're surviving Dave!
  17. Amiens, Mark 2! (perhaps I should commence a new thread?) Following several years in the doldrums, Amiens is getting a reboot, including a new trackplan, that is slightly more aligned with the prototype.. (tho still with many compromises!) More anon...
  18. I think to be fair to all posters, no one here 'singled out' IFM, this thread was simply about their products. Just like in the past, we've had threads picking apart projects such as Eoin's DARTs, or Weshty's Kits, or the IRM wagons, or even Murphy's MK2s. To try to curtail opinion, criticism and constructive advice would defeat the purpose of this community. Any offering in the marketplace should be able to stand up to scrutiny; any smart offering should be able to take and build on the criticism, giving us all more and better options in general!
  19. Beautiful work!
  20. Love how the layout moved, not the model!
  21. Thanks for sharing those Kirley - you can't beat the oddness of some of the early multiple units!
  22. Hi John, thank you for the question! IRM has always been 'externally' funded. We've never crowdfunded any of our releases, but we did open the order book early on the Ballasts to help guage demand (and cashflow) and likewise the Bubbles. Unlike crowdfunded projects you may have seen, the production of our models are never dependant on a target level of presales or 'crowd' support. We plan to bring the Tara mines wagon to market, opening the order book at the very earliest once they are en route, and we have a number of 'surprise' models due in 2017 also Hope that helps Stephen
