Am I correct in thinking there is still no rtr 21mm track to purchase out there? Somehow in my mind I believe I may have hallucinated and confused the new Peco Finescale Code 75 bullhead track for a 21mm release. It'll be a larger layout so I'm ok with larger radius points but there is just no possibility that I’m going to make the track itself in addition to converting all the stock. Comments and suggestions are appreciated Thanks in advance Kevin

Hi, Can anyone who has restored a GNR or GS&WR sign such as a 'No trespassing ' one, advise on how these should be restored. The plan in mind is a wire brush, whatever undercoat comes out of a can that can be purchased in the US, followed by a main color and some hand painted restoration of the lettering. Any advice in addition/to the contrary or advice on paints/colors? TIA Kevin

I'll definitely be in the market for a rake of these and the various laminates, the greater the variety the better. He does small quantities of 1429s, 1449 and 19xx brakes plus Park Royals from time to time in any livery from green to silvery to BnT. This period may not be as popular with some some modelers probably due to increasing lack of familiarity with the period as time continues to pass. The quality of his kits/is not perfect and the price is a little expensive but IFM does has the best variety of Irish coaching and freight stock out there (at least for now).

The hoppers have been modified underneath as you suggested. You would think that this would have been adopted more widely by train operators and haulers but I see maybe 1 in 100 trucks in the US with skirts under the trailer, between the cab and trailer, or behind the trailer itself. Of course the suggested form of energy would have us going back to coal

Interestingly on Gerry Conmy's Youtube channel at 27:50 I came across a MkII rake with what appears to be a Dutch van at either end. Any ideas why this might be or am I just talking Double Dutch here?

No problem. I know its a long time ago. I was going through the thread to see how much interest there was in these railcars and thought you might recall. The Bulleids were very interesting as I hadn't realized they were incorporated into the 2600 class

I think ernie Brack has at least one if not several on Flickr. I'll post a link if I find it. Unfortunately there are not that many pictures floating about of the bubble since the orange livery since the livery was earlier, and changed to the ivory within not that many years and less availability of color film. Most of the 'ivory'/covered in cement Mixed with ivory livery I think this is belong to @jhb171achill and has been previously posted on the site

Very interesting photos. The last 7 (I think they're all the same plough van?) seems to be the GS&WR plough which seems to have been in mostly 'original' condition with horizontal boards until '99. It looks like was finally repaneled in metal sheet 2000 ish. I can't recall if it was renumbered into the 252XX series after that but it'd obviously keeping its original GSWR plate. Richie did a nice series of photos @Glendergon one of these, iirc about 2 years ago, ... one ended up in Downpatrick, so must look that up. In action by Joe St. Leger in Midleton

E, F packs will sell out I’m sure. Really looking forward to B&I liners, and Bell of course. Well done IRM!

Funny, I looked at the website today but didn’t see anything! Good to see these. Unfortunately, had to respray the last rake and committed to other purchases right now. Might pop down to Marks in Cork tomorrow to see if they have them though. Any update on the 121s, I wonder?

I might also be interested in a short rake of these but what exactly is being offered? Worsley typically does scratch building aids, not complete brass kits like JM Designs or SSM. Perhaps an estimate for what ever is being proposed would be helpful? This must be possible in order to estimate a minimum quantity to break even? A photo @jhb171achill might stimulate some further interest making pricing even better? Thanks K
