  1. Ah here, JB... some people posted pics here previously of grey 121s without the lining and you insisted the lining was there and just hard to see.
  2. The locomotive equivalent of this:
  3. We have a shipment coming in from Columbia, which will be available to purchase separately. It's hard to source, though, so it won't be cheap...
  4. Note that he's working in N gauge...
  5. Well, here's a little something to tease you all with. Please remember it's a work in progress... Posted especially for Captain Buzzkill here...
  6. OK... This all stops now. There'll be an extended break handed out if it doesn't. As for these... You're all here long enough to know you're supposed to report posts you feel contravene forum rules instead of commenting/tackling them yourselves. It took someone who hadn't commented on the thread to finally click the 'report' button to bring it to our attention. I'm leaving the thread open in the hope it can return to the original topic. If it doesn't, it'll be closed.
  7. You're bordering on trolling on this subject now, Noel...
  8. You're mixing up 'sustainable' and 'renewable' now, JB!
  9. I'd be up for it, JB... would be making my own way there, though.
  10. Are the photos displaying the right way up when you preview them on the iPad, JB?
  11. I see you found your Australian camera again, JB...
  12. It's a bit of fun. Jaysus.
  13. Hi folks, This evening Irish Railway Models signed off on the finalised CAD design for the ballast wagon and the order has been given to the factory to "cut metal" on the tooling. All going well, we should have a production slot assigned to us by the time the plant closes for Chinese New Year (February 8th). We'll keep you updated. Meanwhile, there are now less than 50 sets still available to purchase through our website, so now really is the time to purchase your models if you have not already done so. Thanks for reading!
  14. No. The 071s were supplied with it but the feature was soon isolated.
  15. Great footage by Joe St Leger. It's likely that the A failed on the beet, although it is also possible B190 was piloting the train over a particular section. By 'weighted' wagon, I assume you're referring to the wagon at the rear of the passenger/parcels train? Looks like a standard 20ft container on a flat wagon...
  16. On the contrary, I like the new livery and think the De Dietrichs are a fine-looking coach. The Mk4s are a different matter, though...
  17. Just as well I didn't go and ask them if the unweathered version was cheaper.
  18. Maybe... but there was an entire shelf full of them.
  19. No, Peco is code 55... until you pull the plastic off of it; then it ends up being code 100.
  20. Pre-weathered spirit levels... thought it was dust at first but closer inspection revealed it to be sprayed on!
  21. If you're hand-laying, you could try Atlas code 55 N gauge track - you'd just need to remove the rails from the plastic sleepers. The Peco equivalent isn't suitable as it's actually code 100(?) with a portion of the rail embedded in the plastic.
  22. It was an attempt to allow more external sound to enter the cab, so that the drivers would hear the detonators.
  23. I'll be surprised if it's not the same arrangement as the 141/181s.
