  5. That whole area is fenced off now sadly, due to it being used for 22k railcar storage, so you wont be able to get close to it sadly

  8. Think of what the term 'BS' normally stands for A dreamer and a fool is all he is, safe to ignore
  9. They were yellow at the end, both cut up fairly quickly too. The Crane at Whitehead is the former GNRI crane and the former NCC crane is at Downpatrick

Nail on head, particularly regarding personal hygiene The 2 previous years Ive exhibited there Ive stood on the roof of the restaurant to watch the flood in the door at 09.15 and 2 years later stood just close enough to the Bachmann stand to take in the spectacle of the bargain scrum - makes fat women at jumble sales look exceptionally tame.......

  13. Ebay is not a measure of what something is worth - its a measure of what people are willing to pay
  14. No, the Syndicate are based in the UK. But expect to shafted by either bookseller at Raheny for it
  15. VW Brilliant Orange or Volkswagen Beetle Orange, as any good motor factors would say
  16. A bit heavy handed, but buy a Bachmann Mk1 with B4 bogies (comb ebay, usually the regional railways ones had B4's), removed the body, cut the SF vans ends off and slot it onto the bachmann chassis. Will run better and smoother and to scale height. You then also have an open interior. Also add the water tank under the model
  17. The sharper the blade the safer it is - requires less effort to cut materials (so your not applying too much pressure and it jumps) and if you do manage to cut yourself it will be a cleaner cut, not gouged and less chance of infection
  18. Next time set the depth of field higher, put it into AV mode and go as high as you can - eg F22. You will need a tripod but it will be worth it
  19. 201-205 210-214 - the non push pull fitted examples
  20. SF still has a pile of unsellable 105's to shift then!
  21. 112 now on display in Marks Models in Dublin (not the one thats on display in Belfast)
  22. Bogball zzzzzzzzzzzz
  23. Yes they did - when No4 was preserved the paint was carefully removed to reveal the original NCC markings underneath BTT
  24. Asked him about it a few years back, but he was not interested, but no doubt if he did they would be like the rest of his items, nice if expensive.
  25. I was on that train, 6400bhp, acceleration to humble an empty DART.........
