  1. That's very nice, love the footplate detail. Can i ask where do you get the etched primer and do you spray it on?

  5. Looking good. :tumbsup:The white stripes, that's the big test. good luck.
  6. That shade looks ok. If you give it a bit of thinned brown paint and take most of it off again it should dull it down a bit. The longer you leave the brown on the more it will stay on.
  7. Here are 3 pic's i took at DCDR of the GSV, this might help with details & weathering.
  8. Here are two wagons i photograghed at Downpatrick a while back.
  9. Great pictures, all the right way up.
  10. Very nice machine, get some muck on it and it would be nice to see it run.
  11. That might be Industrial espionage. Careful now.
  12. Great pictures, but still upsidedown. If you look in your camera settings and look for Auto rotate and set it to off, it may have a different name on other cameras. Hope it helps.

  14. Super detail pictures, it's going to be a great model. Can't wait.
  15. Here is a picture i took of the Plasser Machine at Downpatrick and a picture of the Bachmann model beside MM156. The Plasser machine is HO and very small beside the loco. Why do Bachmann sell this as OO when it clearly isn't?
  16. That's great news. Can't wait, it will be a great model. I'm not sure what livery i want but i have plenty of time to think about it.
  17. Very nice models & a nice paint job. What is the arrangment of the seats, is it 3/2 or 3/3?

Looks fantastic so far. Great weathering.
  22. I took this picture of 800 at cultra, it might help. I think books can be a poor way to obtain the correct colours from prototypes as every picture seems to be a different shade. Find a colour that is close and mix to get a colour you are happy with. Green is made by mixing blue & yellow so you can add one or the other to change the shade, also lighten or darken with black or white.
  23. Very nice It will be nice to see it painted.
  24. That seems to have went into the fonts list ok, Thanks.
  25. Can anyone tell me when you download the Clo Gaelach (Twomey) how do you transfer it to a word document for eg?
