DJ Dangerous Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 (edited) Hi All. Thought I'd start a thread dedicated to 1:18 vehicles, as if not, I'll keep hijacking @JasonB's thread. Received a few accessories for the "workshop" last week, cones, wheels etc, so have added them in. This stuff is massive, takes up a lot of space, so it's hard to have it on display without everything being too cluttered. The first photo I took the other day, and have already used it to violate the "Other Side" thread. The last photo is just to show the scale difference between this and what we're accustomed to in the OO Gauge world. The 1982 DAF 3300 SpaceCab is from Road Kings. The 1987 EF3 Honda Civic Si is from Triple 9. They do about six variants of the model, I think. The 1995 EJ1 Honda Civic coupe is from ERTL, have that about twenty years. The 1990 E30 BMW M3 is from Solido. Also available in blue. The 1992 EG9 Honda Civic is from OneModel. Usually go for stupid money on eBay but I won this one a few weeks back for a less-stupid amount. The Honda CBR900RR Fireblade is from Welly. Not a big fan of Welly but you have to have a Honda bike one way or another. The cones are from American Diorama and the wheels and stand are from IXO. If anybody else has any 1:18 stuff to contribute, fire away! Edited December 30, 2023 by DJ Dangerous Added reference url's. 4 1 Quote

Darius43 Posted March 15 Posted March 15 A ready made model but of an unusual prototype. My Dad worked for Michelin and did a training “stage” at their French HQ in Claremont Ferrand in the late 1970s. We visited him during that time and I saw the Michelin Test track where this car operated / although not the car itself. Very Gerry Anderson. Cheers Darius 2 2 Quote
