No shortage of volunteers to run it for you!!!! No point in imposing unnecessary limits - just do the whole island in 00 - it will fit neatly inside Phoenix Park. 6

Patrick Davey Posted Saturday at 22:05 Posted Saturday at 22:05 Love how the vertical face of the platform changes, suggesting a later extension. Superb! 1 2

LOL,but it wont fit in Phoenix Park! Ireland is 300 miles long and Phoenix Park is 2.6 miles (measured along Chesterfiield Avenue)

Don't be dispiriting the lad - he's probably already done about a quarter of it... 4
Darius43 Posted 23 hours ago Author Posted 23 hours ago Canopy building painted. Columns made using 2mm sq. Plastruct, plasticard and tape strips. Supporting header beam made from 2mm thick card. The columns slot into the beam and can be adjusted up/down so that they all touch the platform surface before final fixing. Cheers Darius 7

Galteemore Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Fabulous. How did you do the trefoil type valance ? 1
Darius43 Posted 19 hours ago Author Posted 19 hours ago I drew the pattern big scaleee in MS Paint and then shrunk it and printed strips of them on clear decal paper. These strips were applied to the painted valences. Cheers Darius 3 1 1 1

leslie10646 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Hi, Darius May I ask what adhesive you use with the backing board card you appear to be using? I'm impressed by the absence of corner strengtheners.
Darius43 Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago Hi Leslie. I’m using neat pva. As the model station buildings are following the curve of the platform, there are very few right angles… Cheers Darius 1
