BosKonay Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 You've probably already noticed 'news' boxes on the right of the main forum view. These hopefully will serve to show the latest posts, new threads and new blog posts. You can toggle them off by clicking the small grey chevrons to the right.
heirflick Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 nice one steven - a welcome addition:tumbsup:
Glenderg Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Yeah, I have to say the site is running tidy on Chrome. When you have new postings pop up when the "what's new" page is up and you select one, read it, and come back the new postings are added without having to reload (like before) . A simple but useful tweak. Cheers Bosko for all the effort, and the IT support
RedRich Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Noticed it last night Stephen, it's a great idea and the sites just gotten better. As Richie has said the effort is hugely appreciated. Rich,
BosKonay Posted November 21, 2013 Author Posted November 21, 2013 Thanks Rich Am always open to ideas and tweaks where possible
heirflick Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Thanks Rich Am always open to ideas could we stage a coup and overthrow the government or is that a bad idea?
WRENNEIRE Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Would it be possible to put a like button on new posts, similar to facebook Might stop the need for loads of unneeded posts such as "Cheers Lads" " Thanks Bud" etc etc
BosKonay Posted April 26, 2014 Author Posted April 26, 2014 There is one on the thread. Will check the options for posts.
Warbonnet Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Would it be possible to put a like button on new posts' date=' similar to facebook Might stop the need for loads of unneeded posts such as "Cheers Lads" " Thanks Bud" etc etc[/quote'] I think that's a great idea personally.
Glenderg Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 A bit like the system on RMweb where people can acknowledge "helpful/useless/funny/etc." would be a really really nice feature to have. Anyone on smortphones or tablets can contribute without trying to type on those teeny phones.
Flying Scotsman 4472 Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 I think that Volvo driver on Ballykay took those 4 tablets
