....I actually thought it was a piss take!

In a sense, it is.

Those eejits probably spent a few grand on a consultant to come with this pile o' shi*e.

I think Andrew Strong, who played Deco in The Commitments, tends to live and work elsewhere these days. He's not had what ye'd call a stratospheric career.

Everyone knows what happened to Andrea Corr (who was pretty much an extra rather than a prominent character in the film), but by far the most interesting cast member from the film is Michael Aherne, a civil engineer who gave up acting and ended up as head of transport development at the National Transport Authority! He seems to be the go-to man in Dublin for bicycle networks

That is surely not real. I checked to see if it was 1st April.

If taxpayer's money was spent on that rubbish, I want a tax rebate.

agreed! it is worse than dustin in the eurovision:((

Maybe Dustin could go to the Eurovision in a Dublin bus with a mascot - single journey.

That would ensure RTE wouldn't have to fork out for the EuroSong the year after.

Jesus H Christ! My jaw is on the floor... I just youtubed this in the hope that it's a prank... And it's not. I dread to think how much money has been spent.

Ghastly, utterly ghastly. A boycott of Dublin buses is on the cards....

They boycotted me as I stood at a stop for 30 minutes this evening...

yip yip yip yip ;)

In the days when I was in Dublin, many of the buses carried the destination "As Serbhis". I often wondered where it was....

Ha ha horse, now they say everything bar "terms and conditions apply" as gaelige. Some day i'm expecting to see a bus that says "An bhfuil cead agam dul go dti an leithreas". Que the junkie trying to figure out where that bus is going to...

Just once he gets away with paying minimum fare that's all he cares about.
