thewanderer Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 It's the Enterprise! 209 has been released to traffic following its body overhaul and repainting into a new and unfinished version of "Enterprise" livery, along with renumbering to 8209 to fit in with the NI Railways four digit system. It was pictured at Portarlington working the 0935 North Wall - Ballina IWT Liner. Click http://smu.gs/1vgYESr to view. The Wanderer.
rebelred Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 (edited) She's out on a test/trial run Warbonnet, decals have yet to be added. Edited December 2, 2014 by rebelred spelling
jhb171achill Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Decals, I am told, will be largely red or maroon.
Glenderg Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Decals, I am told, will be largely red or maroon. A bit like the silver EWS scheme from across the ditch. Maroon coaches too I wonder?
jhb171achill Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 I understand the coaches will be the same black & silver-grey. Same maroon / red logos, which in design will be broadly similar to what's in use. That's the broad plan anyway.
ttc0169 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 8209 in Ballina freight yard earlier this evening.
Dave Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Looks really good, I'm not a big fan of the 201's but I would like one in that livery.

hurricanemk1c Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 8209 worked the 0815 Ballina - North Wall IWT today (3/12/14). I headed down to North Wall and the docks for a few photos Regards, Kieran
burnthebox Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Great photo's hurricane, thanks for sharing, neat colour scheme, Really do's stand out with those colours, well done,
dave182 Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Nice pics Hurricane! As an aside, that has to be the tidiest I've ever seen North Wall Yard, now that all the Mk3s are gone!!
hurricanemk1c Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Thanks folks. I'm reserving judgement on the livery until it's finished, but the light ended up just about right
