Glad you like it Richie, however the layout is not my work and is a unused part of

Ballybeg by Gerry Byrne that I am using with a new piece that will slot into it

and can be poped in to my attic for handyness sake.As regards the chap by

the hut-your explenation sounds good.:D

I got my junction Signal done at last and I am a happy camper.

The kit is nice but it is tricky as parts are small, but its nice when

they are finished.I hope to have photos of the Level crossing kit

later next week and hopfully a video showing them working.

Excellent work, when you say "The kit is nice but it is tricky as parts are small," I would interpret that as bloody hard work - well done. Looking forward to seeing your photos of the Level Crossing kit

With these signals for ages and do them when time permits.

Just a update on my SSM LC kit,and I have one gate almost done

and just need to tidy up the paintwork and stick on the LC number.

The gate will work on the old Ballybeg axel pole and I am delighted.

I will post up more photos when more work is done.

That's really fine work Eamonn and I mean that most sincerely. It's a great advert for how good Des's kit really is, I love it =D.

Rich,

Thanks Rich, and as you said credit to Des for such a

nice kit.You can see in the photo when compared to the

Brittish gate that it gives the layout a true Irish feel.

Eamon, you have done a superb job on all the SSM bits and bobs.

Junction signal (love the grating for the platform)

Ground signal, people just don't realise how small it is!

The level crossing is just too sweet, it really looks well insitu, particularly with the two supporting stays. It's a kit that is close to my heart as there was a lot of work to get the detail right.

Top drawer sir.

The thanks must go to you Des for bringing out these

kits and making the hobby so much more enjoyable.

The LC gates need more work to finish and will post

more photos when done.

I like how rough the road is - very prototypical, unfortunately...

Perhaps a few puddles?

There is a puddle there Broithe, although you

can't see it in any photos. When I have the gates up

and running you will see it.

This is whats going on in the man shed at the moment-

I got this wills Post office kit that i am converting to a an post version.

This is a fecker to build as you have to cut out windows and doors and

trying to cut the plastic is a %%%%%%s.

The kit comes with a nice phone box so I have tryed the paint from a cement bubble (Ivory)

which seems to work well along with the an post green for the mid section.

I am trying different paint shades for these dapol poles.

Next on the list is to convert my hornby deltic chassis for my sound chiped

a39 SF.The deltic chassis seems to run lovly and smooth.

I could do with a tardis to put the layout in.just think of

all that space Rich.lol

I know Eamonn and just think of the brownie points you could score with the missus. You could transport yourself and the layout around the country and have the first model railway exhibition on tour.

Rich,

Are you saying Rich that Eamonn's new nickname is Dr WHO =))

Anto I can see him wearing a curly wig, long coat, and multi colored scarf a la Tom Baker.
