Sounds promising then, On Twiiter mentions he is a Ipswich follower so must be a tie in there somewhere! -

Nice one, looks Like you guys are ploughing a serious furrow these days! A chap from the North east though, Does not bode well for SR followers but lets hope the spell in Margate has rubbed off a wee bit. You could be the Accurascale histroian Dave Cataloging their every move,. On the plus side there is a opening in the big H for you! -

Forgot I took some moving pictures about a month back from the hill just to the left side of the tunnel. Warning: This video contains no orange trains. Merchant Navy, Class 24, Schools and Black 5 in that order. MVI_5593.MOV -

Yep I don't understand the popularity either too but perhaps carpet layouts are more normal than we thought! Jenny Kirk is at it too.A snip at 26 minutes unboxing a Duchess. At least her layout is daycent. The Selling or the Merchandise TAT bugs me too, the world has enough of crap as it is. Only 3.33 for a sticker. from Jenny...

Hi Robert, is it the smaller ones your are looking for or is it the Large Logo's? I have a few spare of both. All Waterslide. George

Personally I find it a Shame to see the trees being cut down. I much prefer to see them in situ, all you have to do is walk up or down the road to see the view. I am not sure the Stub remains enhance the area. -

Yay a Dublin yoke!. Pressures off thankfully. Good luck with it though. -
I must admit this is one of the nicest layouts Irish wise out there. Captures the feel of the countryside excellently.

1/32 Scale Mountfleet Round Table Minesweeper
Georgeconna replied to Georgeconna's topic in Aviation & Maritime Modelling
Managed to kick this into gear over the past 2 weeks, P38 car filler used around the Bulwarks and sanded smooth, the Deck drainage holes and the prop shaft hole drilled and filed out, the Skeg and rudder are put on and fill used to blend the whole lot in and again sanded along with the white metal rope and Anchor eyes. Now waiting for a motor and universal coupling to arrive in the post and I can set the prop shaft in for good. -

2 years at this and still not a whole lot to show for it, but spose I'll just tip away, JS models came out with e Stone Warehouse and a suggestion on RMWEB to suggest a brick one was taken up and produced and sent across the sea. Here some photos of this, I have begun to paint in Different brick colours and I will go over this again with a misting of brick red to bed the lot down. Nice kit and went together with ease, Sometimes it good to do easy stuff to be the mojo rolling! Thread on RMWEB with the lads layout and his website, the Canel Warehouse end would be good for an Irish layout. https://www.jsmodels.co.uk/ https://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/152619-jsmodels-latest-update/ -

Still hard enough to put the few bob away and I have not even order 1 A class yet! The joys of Multiple Interests is a killer!
-
Good contrast, The SSM one still stands up well against the RTR jobs,
-
The Schools do the job they are meant to do and very well. Tender and front bogie pick up make it a sweet runner. Even with a Die cast Chassis a 4-4-0 would not have the traction to pull what it needs to pull. I have no issue with the design. Copy that being in Aus.
-
Start saving your pennies, they are far from Cheap. Thank god I don't like buses.
-
You could easily do this yourself Noel, Your nearly there as it is with your efforts these days.
-
Man alive Buz, I have 3 Schools class with Traction tyres and they are possibly the best runners out of everything I have and are great pullers, I've had them now for a good number of years. Lack of Spare Tyre's? Try here, there are quite a few to choose from: https://www.petersspares.com/index.jsp?searchStr=traction+tyres You have to wonder what the Spares situation will be like for the Irish stuff in years to come, Already hard to get hhandrails for the 141's. Perhaps a lot of dead locos?

Model buildings in Irish Outline
Georgeconna replied to DiveController's question in Questions & Answers
Yes Pity they did not do the Water Tank and the side dates ala Sheffield Park and have a complete station for chaps. I actually Drove past the Auld house about 2 years back and was surprised it was actually a real gaf. Like many other rural Pubs it is now history. Bit dearer than the model though if you want it https://www.myhome.ie/commercial/brochure/the-auld-house-killamery-callan-kilkenny/4207812
