  1. Sorry if I have misunderstood this, but are they all sold out, or are they still available to pre-order? Only one, the test coach twin pack, shows as being sold out here: https://irishrailwaymodels.com/collections/mark-2-coaches-1
  2. What happened? An Post rejected the parcel within 33 minutes of receiving it???
  3. OK, so I set up a third account with you guys, as my current Accurascale.eu account definitely doesn't work for Accurascale.com... And when I got the loco in my basket, ready to pay, I saw the dreaded message... Is that because of the Royal Mail IT issues? Or is it a Canarian thing? Hatton's usually use the "untracked international" option for here, and Royal Mail have not yet resumed that service. Here's hoping.
  4. I've ordered some of these to fiddle around with. Regarding Irish-ish-ness, which suits what? I mean from the current / former RTR stable, the IRM NIR coaches and the probable Intercity and Enterprise ranges.
  5. Nice looking 2700 for €200. Includes DCC chip. Graham's Resprays seem to have been good. The lining in particular on this one is well done. There was a botched looking one for €300 a few weeks back. https://touch.adverts.ie/models/irish-model-railway-iarnrod-eireann-2700-dmu/29286004
  6. Few interesting bits on eBay. IRM A Class A46 with sound, current bid €175 plus shipping: https://www.ebay.es/itm/385396869152 IRM A Class 056 with sound, current bid €140 plus shipping: https://www.ebay.es/itm/385396878718 I assume they're the two mentioned by @Fowler4f. Very cheap for sound-fitted A's! Silver Fox A Class 023, €110 plus shipping: https://www.ebay.es/itm/295515935174 Murphy Models 201 Class 8208, €300 plus shipping: https://www.ebay.es/itm/204220574208 (Described as a "reluctant runner" on testing) IRM Tara Mines wagons, €80 plus shipping: https://www.ebay.es/itm/266023236636 Seller used to be a bit of a gouger but that's a great price for some Taras.
  7. Royal Mail International Bulletin: https://www.royalmail.com/international-incident-bulletin Says that they have re-started a lot of their services but not all.
  8. Sorry, one more question. Is an Accurascale.eu account invalid for Accurascale.com? Tried logging in using my Accurascale.eu account but it says that it doesn't exist. I know that my Accurascale account is distinct from my IRM account, that's not the issue, it's just to find out if I need two seperate Accurascale accounts.
  9. Wow! That GWR green is something else! Are the Accurascale Exclusive ranges only available from the UK site, or will they be available on the European / global site? I only ask as the likes of the EWS Class 31's are UK only, not available on the European / global site.
  10. D'oh, missed out again!
  11. Not so cheap these days: https://www.ebay.es/itm/402686751554
  12. Not sure if this Murphy 143 sold or was withdrawn, but €170 wasn't a bad price - if you don't get hit for additional VAT: https://www.ebay.es/itm/255960304751
  13. So all of those sole traders in their Transits are just villains!
  14. Corgi Mk3 Ford Transit that somehow survived my childhood largely intact.
  15. And at an outstanding price, too, less than €350! https://irishrailwaymodels.com/collections/railcar-class-22000-icr/products/ie-22000-class-icr-3-car-in-2020-ir-livery-with-blue-doors-cycle-graphic
  16. Do you search for Egyptian models often? I guess the amount of clothing would determine whether your searches are forum-friendly or not.
  17. Makes sense I guess. Plus, the 170 looks a bit funky for a 22000. A GWR 800 with the pantographs removed would look better.
  18. I see that this is also on Adverts.ie for a similar price - not bad considering what Chris charges for these when new: https://touch.adverts.ie/toy-cars-trains-boats-planes/irish-rail-model-railway-ie-22000-dmu-3-car-set/28910438 Says that it's unavailable. I assume that means that it was withdrawn? https://www.ebay.es/itm/354516529745
  19. Pair of IRM Taras for €80, great price, sold-out at IRM and Marks Models: https://touch.adverts.ie/toy-cars-trains-boats-planes/model-railways-irish-railway-models-tara-mines-wagons-x-1packs-g/28777219 Pair of IRM Spoil wagons for €110, good price, specially for this particular seller, and a good way to get yourself some empty Flats for C-Rail containers: https://touch.adverts.ie/models/irish-railway-models-wagons/28361598 Whole model railway for sale, including stock, for €850: https://touch.adverts.ie/toy-cars-trains-boats-planes/model-railway/27123713
  20. I suspect that it's a combination of climate, economic situation and the older generation not having that throw-away mentality of today. Lots of shiny new cars on the roads here but lots of cars that you wouldn't have seen in Ireland the past twenty years. Video and a few stills of him trundling past, with Boluda and Tex cameos on the TF1 behind, at the end - colour is a bit off as the original video was almost all just shadows so I had to lighten it up like crazy and drop the contrast.
  21. Fairly ancient but fairly common here.
  22. Just saw this on the way to the bus stop. No containers in sight but still pretty cool.
  23. I whine and complain about gougers making a fortune and depriving genuine enthusiasts in the process. We don't know what this seller paid, maybe they travelled to Dublin to buy them, maybe they had them posted to a UK address, so maybe they're making €5 or maybe they're making €15 EURO. Either way, their cut is tiny, if there is one at all, and it's still a savage price for some lovely looking wagons. It's the gougers who are adding hundreds to the prices and / or bought only to speculate that annoy me. Evan Kelly, I'm looking your direction!
  24. Nice to see an honest seller - title, description and lead photo all mention "Dicky". If only there were more sellers like this: https://www.ebay.es/itm/144922075863
