  1. Because IRM are holding back their P47!
  2. I hope it's gonna be very secure!
  3. Murphy Models 183 about to go for €200 here: https://touch.adverts.ie/toy-cars-trains-boats-planes/model-railway-murphys-models-181-no183/26247024 Best price I've seen one at in a long time.
  4. I'm guessing that IRM will tease us for as long as possible before a monstrous climax of 1990's two-tone green Dublin Bus, the Holy Grail of model buses. So what else is coming in the Olympian range before then? A yellow and blue pair will be a no-brainer, as will a blue and cream pair, but might the rare ones also appear? Like the Heinz and Chef pair? Or the learner bus and the tree-cutter? Or a Swatch and Esso pair? Or the black and white Wedding Bus and the "It Could Be You" bus? How about a Bartons and Gormanston pair? Or a Nite Link and Premier Inn pair? That's about three years worth of bus foreplay before the big one.
  5. I saw two lovely CMA CGM babies sitting outside Decathlon in La Laguna earlier... Are these in a revised livery with Seaco and Seacell added? They are slightly different to my C-Rail CMA CGM HC's. Is this the guise in which they currently run in Ireland? Maybe @ttc0169 or @MOGUL could confirm? If so, do you have any plans for a run of them, @Arran?
  6. What would you suggest, to improve the model's appearance?
  7. I'm happy to offer a good home to any unwanted "old" MM 141's, 181's, 071's or 201's...
  8. It's probably difficult to get slots in the factories at the moment. I'm sure we'll see tooled samples at one of the shows before anything from the announcement goes on sale.
  9. Thank Heavens for IKEA and their cheap Mosslanda shelves!
  10. Just curious as to why? I've seen several members post that, but I'm not sure that it would be ideal from a sales point of view - possibly be akin to another run of the A's, which wouldn't make sense immediately. Absolutely agree there, stunning looking locos, all of the variants. Don't get to run my trains at all lately, although hope to do so at the end of the month, so for now, I can at least look at them.
  11. 183 for sale, weathered! https://touch.adverts.ie/toy-cars-trains-boats-planes/model-railway-murphys-models-181-no183/26247024
  12. If you need some sunshine, I know a man!
  13. So pretty much one per month from February through to October, and two of them are home-wreckers? Got it.
  14. A few Cravens for sale: https://touch.adverts.ie/toy-cars-trains-boats-planes/murphys-models-cravens-model-railway/26244180
  15. Absolutely stunning! So, the most important question... When aill you have a run of 500 ready as an IRM special commission?
  16. It's been said before, and I can say that I wholeheartedly agree, the silver and the green don't show up too well in photos but they are just stunning to the eye. The green is gorgeous, and the detail on the silver really pops. Plus, the sold-out models already change hands for over €250 on eBay, so you'll definitely be paying a premium if you want them further down the line.
  17. Almost sure that I read somewhere here on the forum that the Irish variant had the same chassis but a different body. Not 100% sure on that.
  18. How are the sales figures looking now? My budget has been thrown askew due to some unexpected spending on RPSI coach packs and IRM buses!
  19. When I was younger, maybe early teens, maybe earlier, I sent a letter to IR / IE, with some drawings that I had done, suggesting new liveries, and suggesting that they start naming the locos. The livery that the 201's arrived in is not a million miles off the drawings that I had sent, and all these years on, I still think that it's a lovely livery. For its day, it was a modern take on the classic ST / IR / IE colours, and it looked great no matter what it was hauling / pushing.
  20. Not sure about the three-car 29000's, but the four-car sets are around €725, I think. Chris told me that somebody else here on the forum has recently ordered a four-car set, so maybe whoever that was can advise.
  21. That's an awesome photo. I don't use a real camera, just a 'phone, but flipping it upside-down does give some nice low perspective shots.
  22. Same seller has some other Irish stuff, too. What looks like a Chris Dyer / Tony Mirolo three-car 29000: https://www.ebay.es/itm/304373294828 Dapol / IFM bag / pallet cement wagons: https://www.ebay.es/itm/304373298040 Northern Irish bus: https://www.ebay.es/itm/304368234804
