Original thread here: And a duplicate here: So I guess there are three identical threads on the Accessory packs!

That's not what I meant. Not at all. I'm sorry if it came across like that. I don't want to try again as I tried pretty hard to avoid that kind of a response in my first post. Please keep posting the same stuff again and again if you like, it's your thread, and the forum is a free place where we all look for something in common. I did not mean to be insulting or belittling, only constructive.

Murphy Models Locos with Hornby's HM7000 Bluetooth Control
DJ Dangerous replied to declan64's topic in Irish Models
Have just watched your other video on it. It may not be for me (DC Hornby R912 and DC Gaugemaster GMC-DS controllers and an Android KEYOne and KEY2) but it looks like it will definitely open the door for many people. -

Excellent, thank you. So buying the 21 Pin decoder and powerbank, and downloading the (free?) application from the Apple store or whatever they call it, you can basically run a DCC light and sound loco on a DC layout? And I assume you just leave your DC controller set at full power in any direction and don't touch it again? -

Wonderful video, thank you. I'm sorry if I missed this part of the video, but what were you using to control the locos? A mobile 'phone? -
I wonder if there will be spares available from Paddy when the new run of 201's arrive. Could be a while, I know, but he may surprise us!

I don't want to be negative, so I apologise in advance if this come across that way. It is genuinely meant in a constructive way. While Gort is fabulous, and you should be very proud of what you have achieved, the thread is starting to feel a little repetitious, now. I get a Gort notification and think that I'm gonna see a new video or a new running session or a yellow weedspray train behind a grey 071 or whatever, but it just kind of feels like it's the same stuff again and again, packaged differently. Old photos, plans, whatever etc. Again, @Noel, Gort is incredible, it takes the idea of prototypical modelling and does a wonderful job, but maybe there's not much to add to the thread until you have something new - maybe the cassette that you spoke of would allow an update or two. Dugort and Brookhall Mill are examples of layouts that warrant frequent updates, there's always something new or something tweaked. Gort is more like a Barrow Street in that there is less to post about in general, while still being an amazing layout. Some fresh running session videos would be nice.

Don't worry, we'll get those four 141's down here somehow, and you can use one as your summer residence. -

How dare you sell buses to anybody other than me??? -
Plus, you have extreme risks up there due to cold, damp, theft and vandalism.

Speaking of buses, I picked this one up for €20 including postage yesterday: https://www.ebay.es/itm/403771029259 While laughing so hard at these two and the rest on Adverts.ie: https://touch.adverts.ie/models/dublin-bus-46a-to-dunlaoghaire/23137265 https://touch.adverts.ie/models/dublin-bus-l-driver-under-instruction/29114627 -
Probably ship them in partially assembled kit form. Please note, some additional parts may be required to complete assembly.
-
Seems unlikely. I mean, they'd be safe down here but shipping them wouldn't be cheap!

Sad to see but I guess there's no other solution. Where was she chopped up? Is that a Mk2D?

Lovely work, @Darius43! What's the story behind the Roadtrailers? I never knew they had been used in the UK. Always thought they were a US thing.

Is that photo from the Open Day last May?

Lovely stuff!

Following on from these two posts by @228RiverOwenboy; " 144 was scrapped in March 2022, I'm unsure about 162, 171, 177 and 147... I can only assume that 162 would be next, as it's in the worst condition of them all. " "I believe so! They were the last 141s in service, with 171 being the last 141 to have been ever used in mainline service (Nov 2011?), and 162 being used to shunt B113 at Inchicore when it was being moved to Cultra in late 2011 " ...and looking at Google Maps just now, does anybody have photos, videos or info on the remaining 141's at Inchicore?

Wonder if An Post would give me a good rate for all four. -

So there are four 141's sitting at Inchicore, free for the taking? -
Could you SHOUT THAT A BIT LOUDER, please?
-
LOL, who mentioned paying for them??? Excellent. Should be roaming free by now. Hopefully available for some freelance work.
