  1. That's the "problem" with being so successful! P.S.: It's your fault that there are no 071's available!
  2. I have a feeling that they were not shipping as early as the non-Bundle Ballast and Gypsum orders due to stock-taking on the Ploughs, but am open to correction.
  3. How about a twin pack of 303 and 304, Mk2D's in RPSI green, to compliment the green Bachmann RPSI coaches? It'd be handy if somebody was doing a run of IR Mk2D's and could run some for the RPSI at the same time! Thank you for the wonderful model of B134. I have sent two of them as Christmas presents this year!
  4. I'm sure that there is another thread on this, too. I wonder if a mod would be kind enough to merge the two threads?
  5. Are there more 121's on the way from China, or in stock with Murphy Models awaiting dispatch, or is that it? It's just that they seem to have sold out so quickly, literally in days on the IRM and Hattons websites! Still in stock at Marks Models, I know, but the pace of the sales is blinding at the aforementioned.
  6. So you're saying that somebody modelling the mid nineties doesn't have to search too hard for an excuse to buy some CIE Ballast wagons?
  7. I think that shipping and logistics companies are under a lot more pressure than usual, so maybe parcels are being handled more roughly. Less staff working, less transit slots available on ships and planes, a lot more being bought online than before. They are probably recruiting anybody that they can get their hands on, so we have the bottom of the barrel literally kicking our locos around in transit... I'm praying that my 121's are well protected with lots of internal packaging and survive the trip down here... 3000km as the crow flies, 4000km via the UK and Spain! I, too, received a Hattons order the other day containing many smashed and damaged display cases. That's the first time that has happened with a Hattons order, and I noticed that the internal packaging was poorer than usual. Fingers crossed that Christmas isn't spent packaging items for return!
  8. Thanks! I did follow the link, but it's a private Facebook group... I can't even remember my FB password at this stage.
  9. Awesome!!!!!
  10. Marks Models' website still says "pre-purchase" . They've been green flagged for days now. Are they actually in stock at Marks? Or is this just a publicity stunt?
  11. Noel, have you got an IR one of these weathered, yet? Won't notice the silver or white, then!
  12. Brilliant news for all!
  13. Probably depends on what other plans the manufacturer has. Not speaking specifically about the 121's, but in general. If you plan launching rolling stock, that will sell better if you still have locos left in stock. So, you could do a small batch of locos and a small batch of rolling stock, and not bother with the two batches aiding each others sales, or you could do larger batches of each, where the sales of each boosts sales of the other. Like Guinness and toilet paper side by side in the supermarket.
  14. Almost sure that WRENNEIRE said that there were 504 of each. Possibly 300 of the RPSI model.
  15. IRM also have the 121 LokSound and LokPilot decoders in stock, chop chop, get the wallets open!
  16. Looks like Hattons do actually have a few, for anybody who missed out. Even though it says "Sold out on pre-order", there are varying live stock quantities and it IS possible to add them to ones basket. Wondering should I invest in a few to sell off at €400 a pop next summer...
  17. In case anybody missed them: https://m.ebay.ie/itm/Irish-Railway-Models-Irish-Rail-Ballast-Plough-van-pack/383818852136
  18. I guess it means that you'll pay Irish VAT instead of UK VAT, plus a handling fee, so larger volume orders will be more economical. JHB, you've opened a can of worms in your drunken stupour!
  19. Absolute bargain: https://m.ebay.ie/itm/Lima-L149437-Irish-Class-201-Train-Pack-with-3-x-MK3-Coaches-CIE-Black-Orange/224235927902?hash=item343580b95e:g:DywAAOSwTspfdcMA Only €420!
  20. "Ex Tax" means "Excluding Tax"!
  21. It probably would have taken a few years to re-brand everything, anyhow.
  22. That's good, so a nice ten-year run for that livery, so.
  23. Ah, sure mixing them like that just makes it even more authentic. A few CIE's mixed in with the IR's for the late eighties or early nineties, and a few IR's mixed in with the IE's for the early IE era.
  24. Murphy Models 233 in Enterprise livery has full yellow faces, whereas 230 in the same livery just has the yellow strips. How long did that Enterprise livery, worn by MM 230 and 233, actually last?
  25. And IRM are down to the last twenty odd RPSI models, which is fantastic news for the RPSI and the market! I have a far better idea: edible inner packaging, ie little bags of Tayto!
