  1. They were unloading it at an apartment complex undergoing refurbishment. Could have been fancy Irish interior decor stuff.
  2. I suspect that you might sell a complete train for maybe €500 or €600, but not €900. Adverts.ie is not eBay, it doesn't have the reach or audience, and it's not a timed auction site so the red mist is missing.
  3. You weren't the only one to think that:
  4. Awesome news for the weekend! The way you have specified the year for each loco is very useful for me, at least, and probably a few others, as I have been lost with which UK livery ran when, until now. A question: My original Deltics are still in transit, so I'm ignorant as the the improvements. Are the tweaks made to the second generation aplicable to the first generation via spare parts, or are they in compatible? Sorry if it seems a dumb question but I haven't yet seen one in person, never mind handled one.
  5. Murphy Models 071 Class no. 082 with LokSound decoder and two packs of IRM Ballast wagons for €750: https://touch.adverts.ie/toy-cars-trains-boats-planes/model-railways/29166896
  6. An outstandingly attractive livery, I must say, looks great with the green Bachmann coaches.
  7. You're off my Christmas card list, so! Tinnelly truck on eBay, better price than usual: https://www.ebay.es/itm/134422134917 Bachmann CIE Mogul in plain black: https://www.ebay.es/itm/225372228677 Nearly sure that @jhb171achillsaid that this is the better of the two black liveries. Nice Lucey truck. Bit pricey, though: https://www.ebay.es/itm/394427741596 McCulla truck, good price: https://www.ebay.es/itm/334707888631
  8. Bargain six-pack of Caledonian Sleeper Mk5's for anybody interested! https://www.ebay.es/itm/175582872751
  9. I thought that maybe Hatton's had scraped the info from Paddy's website without bothering to speak with him. I had assumed they'd be doing the same with the 141's and 181's, and they are not up on Paddy's site, yet, which might explain that.
  10. Is it just me, or are the new P42 chassis much tougher than the original runs? The original run seemed to have their weak spots, the brake wheels in particular were constantly falling off, but these new ones just feel more solid or something. Did you guys sneak some more work in behind our backs???
  11. Hatton's posted these more or less as soon as Paddy made the announcement. As @BosKonay says, we'll hear it here when it's true! (Just like some two-tone green Dublin buses, ahem...) And as @Ironroad says, best thing to do is add them to your Hatton's wishlist. Hatton's Murphy Models list: https://www.hattons.co.uk/stocklist/1000501/0/murphy_models/mfrnest I think that it was the Cravens which were being considered, based on sufficient interest, and these are not listed on the Hatton's website. Also to note, quite strangely, is that the new run of 141's and 181's is not listed on Hatton's, even though Paddy had samples at the Raheney show.
  12. Nice McCulla truck on eBay, not cheap but they're lovely models and very Irish: https://www.ebay.es/itm/394427715976 Likewise for this Tinnelly truck: https://www.ebay.es/itm/325507252714 These Mulgrew trucks are lovely: https://www.ebay.es/itm/394428617593 Couple of James Irlam trucks. Not Irish but I think they look great: https://www.ebay.es/itm/374467136169 https://www.ebay.es/itm/334702619464 https://www.ebay.es/itm/325507258861 Some Ian Hayes trucks. These are gorgeous, have one or two myself: https://www.ebay.es/itm/363331572006 https://www.ebay.es/itm/393176168021 https://www.ebay.es/itm/353689674174 https://www.ebay.es/itm/263613747108 IRM A Class no. 018 in ST livery, current bid €192 EURO: https://www.ebay.es/itm/304773876362 Looks like a Chris Dyer / Tony Mirolo re-spray of a Bachmann Class 170 into IE livery: https://www.ebay.es/itm/204211666103 Silver Fox A Class no. 023 in ST livery: https://www.ebay.es/itm/144904062265 Silver Fox C Class no. 104 in NIR blue, have 107 myself: https://www.ebay.es/itm/144904062267
  13. All you need is a little Axel Foley hanging off the back of the last Bell and the new Brian Collins Garda set racing alongside the tracks.
  14. ContainerShips and MSC kind of stand out because of the colours. Both are very striking. MSC seem to keep their containers in very good condition, too, compared to most of the others. A lot of the 20' boxes here are HC, not 8'6", so the MSC's stand out because of that, too.
  15. I'll see what I can find for you.
  16. Containers are lovely, but 220 looks great! I missed her first time around.
  17. Savage info, @MOGUL!!! We need 45's from @Arran!
