  1. Managed to hold on to a couple, If Carlsberg made Sulzers......... This one was wresteled from me for an O gauge A Class and some MIR wagons, a trade I did not do lightly.
  2. MTK are now part of the Phoenix Precision Paint group. They also have No Nonsense Kits who I think took over MTK at one stage As Kirley says they are out of scale and also a pig of a kit to work with

  10. The 1982 Irish Accessories sheet Single sheet with a King Class on the cover? I imagine this may have come as an addition to a 1982 catalogue similar to the 1980/81 sheet but I have yet to find a 1982 Irish Edition catalogue. Picked this up last night (2/8/13) 1981/82 catalogue It contained the Accessory sheet as described above.
  11. Contact Walter, Kinvara Train of this parish. You will be pleasently surprised!
  12. Something a little different for the Holidays girls. Just out of the cot after a second dose of man flu, knocked the oxball out of me The next installment of the MM gig is the 141 & 181's but as they will be fairly fresh in everyones memory and still available in a couple of locations I will leave them till the New Year These are some LIMA Irish catalogues and pictures They show what was available before MM got involved and back in the day it was this or scratch build This is the earliest catalogue I have found to date so if any of you sad bastards have an earlier one I would love to see it Its the Lima 1980/81 Irish Edition Catalogue number on the rear is 600181 The outer catalogue with reference to Irish Edition The actual catalogue is 68 pages worth and shows all UK outline models and accessories in OO & N Gauge including track, accessories and Power controllers. Some track plans were also included in OO & N However "The Piece de Resistance" is the 4 page insert which was included within the catalogue Reference number 600140 British rolling stock on the cover, great start! Next 2 pages show 2 sets that were never produced, 105020 Western Express And 105821 C.I.E. Emergency Service The back page shows all the models that were supposedly available at the time but I have yet to see the 303203W Sundries in OO gauge I will post some more catalogues over the weekend
  13. Funny set this It has made from a low of €175 to a high of €320 I see yours is still sealed so it will include a 120 transformer and the Bachmann ez track The sum of the individual parts is greater than what it brings as a set so maybe sell the items individually Postage on the set is around €20 so that has to be taken into consideration as well Have seen a couple recently at shows one at €220 and the other at €250 One problem with the set is that the loco is unnumbered and does not come with a sheet of numbers.
