Lima took over Jouef in 2001 and from then on the models were labelled with the Lima/Jouef tag So early Lima/MM models had an L prefix and the later Lima/Jouef /MM models had a LT prefix, the River Boyne, Exec Coaches, NIR and Galway packs

A young monk arrives at the monastery. He is assigned to helping the other monks in copying the old canons and laws of the church, by hand. He notices, however, that all of the monks are copying from copies, not from the original manuscript. So, the new monk goes to the Old Abbot to question this, pointing out that if someone made even a small error in the first copy, it would never be picked up! In fact, that error would be continued in all of the subsequent copies. The head monk, says, "We have been copying from the copies for centuries, but you make a good point, my son." He goes down into the dark caves underneath the monastery where the original Manuscripts are held as archives, in a locked vault that hasn't Been opened for hundreds of years. Hours go by and nobody sees the Old Abbot. So, the young monk gets worried and goes down to look for him. He sees him banging his head against the wall and wailing. "We missed the R We missed the R We missed the feckin R" His forehead is all bloody and bruised and he is crying uncontrollably. The young monk asks the old Abbot, "What's wrong, father?" With a choking voice, the old Abbot replies "The word was .... CELEBRATE"...........

Well, I'm in the Hospital Yesterday was not good at all! After spending the last couple of months quarantined inside the house, I decided to go horseback riding, something I haven't done in many years. It turned out to be a horrible mistake! I got on the horse and started out slowly, but then we went a little faster; before I knew it, we were going as fast as the horse could go. I couldn't take the pace and fell off and caught my foot in the saddle stirrup, the horse was then dragging me. The horse just would not stop. Thankfully the manager at Tesco's came out and unplugged the machine. He actually had the nerve to take the rest of my coins so I wouldn't try to ride it again.

For anyone attending the fair we will have hand sanitizer and we would ask you to : Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water. Why? Washing your hands with soap and water or using alcohol-based hand rub kills viruses that may be on your hands. Maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and others. Why? When someone coughs, sneezes, or speaks they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain virus. If you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets, including the COVID-19 virus if the person has the disease. Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth. Why? Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose or mouth. From there, the virus can enter your body and infect you. Make sure you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory hygiene. This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately and wash your hands. Why? Droplets spread virus. By following good respiratory hygiene, you protect the people around you from viruses such as cold, flu and COVID-19. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, please do not attend. Keep up to date on the latest information from trusted sources, such as WHO or your local and national health authorities. Why? Local and national authorities are best placed to advise on what people in your area should be doing to protect themselves. Face masks can be worn if you need to, and our kitchen will be closed.

The same seller has two listings of Piko timber wagons: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164243429871 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164243432918 Whats the feeling about these wagons? I know they are HO but do you think they are reflective of our own timbers, and when running can the difference in scale be clearly seen? Would look nicer with the yellow painted on top of the stauncions methinks? I think even I could master that.

Bit of nostalgia here, back in the day when I kept records of MM/Lima items on eBay one of these sold for a staggering £1200, which equated to almost €1700 at the time Always loved this set as it had a restaurant which was extremely rare at the time https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164242009906

Wouldnt say unpopular Noel, MM had 2 sets commissioned and they flew off the shelves Love to see one in a rake of IC Mk2d's, always a conversation spot at shows Although €150 a pop is a bit ott But someone is willing to pay it, cant remember the last set to sell on the Bay?

I asked my surgeon if I could administer my own anesthetic Go ahead, he said, knock yourself out.

Wrenn N was just Lima N rebadged, the Wrenn Brothers took up the agency and then just badged the Lima models with Wrenn stickers in some cases This is a Lima box with a Wrenn card insert This was a made for purpose Wrenn N box They also sold O Gauge Lima Usually with just a small Wrenn sticker on the box
-
Correct me if I am wrong but I think Lima N Gauge is slightly different to mainstream N gauge? I know on the 3F the tender is overscaled to accommodate the motor
