  3. The MRSI hosted an open day for the public and a gathering for Gauge O Guild members yesterday. Some nice Irish and British O Gauge models on show. Some crappy pics taken on my phone... Alphagraphix Bandon Tank and coaches LMS Coaches Scratchbuilt 800 class discussed elsewhere on the site this week Leinster Models LNER Atlantic (Have an unbuilt kit on its way to me!) Scratchbuilt GNRI tank Good to meet some site members yesterday!
  4. Progress continues on the O Gauge J26. Started to run out of talent a bit especially around the splashers but thankfully the men in the MRSI were able to show me the way! Some 'riveting' rivet detail... There was no boiler bands in the kit so I'm going to have to get my thinking cap on about that one. Work on the detailing will come next as well as the running gear but first a lot of cleaning up is required as you can see. Beading needs to be completed and tided up too.
  5. They're perspex around my way, think they learnt from their mistakes!
  6. Very nice bos, even down to the homeless proof worlds most uncomfortable benches in the shelter!
  7. Nice shots, I believe the English electric loco is basically a class 20 in a different body. They used to have a small fleet of locos closely related to class 50s too. I think their Alcos are gone now too?
  8. €15,000 including delivery apparently. Think I'll stick with Hornby.

  16. He was running a scratchbuilt C class last night. Has a very nice E too which you would love!
  17. A scratchbuilt work of art. The builder is an artist!
  18. There is also the option of a proper repaint over the poor finish. Weathering wont hide a poor paint job completely.
  19. 10 days is a bit long alright. Usually have it to Dublin in about 5-6 working days.
  20. I've bought from them a few times and all has been fine when they arrived (and all did.) What annoys me about them is that when you buy off their website you have no idea what you'll be charged in P&P until it arrives. I tend to use others instead like Hattons because of it. Only use Rails for their limited editions now which have been top notch. Did you buy from their website or EBay store? At least they refunded you which is good service. You've been pretty unlucky if it's happened more than once.
  21. Love the video Sheamus, saw it last night. Nice bit of atmosphere! You've been taking so cracking pics recently too.
  22. That's the one Broithe, cheers!
  23. There's a triangle just outside Kilkenny (the name of which escapes me now) which facilitated the turning.
  24. Turning this thread into a house of fun fellas!
  25. According to the extensive research I just did by opening my own kit they are not pre rolled
