  8. Evening lads, Some engineering works have taken place at the North junction area of Tara junction today with a Perway possession of the up and down bi-directional lines, One of the former Hornby express points was replaced with the better quality PECO point , After the point was installed it was time to call up the HOBS train first and this was hauled by 7078 078 is seen here slowly hauling the HOBS train from the ballast loading sidings heading for the worksite. 078 overtakes a slow moving and heavy IWT liner which is being hauled by sister loco-077. 078 arrives at the worksite-the driver awaits further instructions from the Perway inspector, Tamper 751 has started work on the opposite line. The HOBS train discharges some ballast while the driver of Tamper 751 awaits more instructions. An engineers eye view of the completed express point-the inspector has instructed the Tamper driver to move back to allow the HOBS train to discharge ballast over the new point.
