  1. Cab glazing installed and Fox Transfers decals applied to the driving coach. Cheers Darius
  2. Motor coach chassis modified using plasticard to accommodate a Hornby motor bogie and the 3D printed trailing bogie. Unfortunately after these photos were taken the trailing bogie rolled off the workbench and shattered on hitting the floor. Whatever the material the bogie is made of it won’t take superglue or epoxy. I have PM’d CMAC to see if I can obtain a replacement bogie. Cheers Darius
  3. Second driving trailer painted. Cheers Darius
  4. Great work - looks fantastic. Cheers Darius
  5. Contoured 3D printing effect on the cab roof (right)sanded and smoothed down and re-primed (left). Bogie bearing holes drilled out to accept cylindrical brass bearings. Once “balanced” the bearings are superglued in place. 10mm dia. wheels fitted. The quality of the printed body shells is very good. The cab roof is the only cleaning up really needed. Basic painting of driving and trailer coach completed. Cheers Darius
  6. Class 325 EMU by CMAC Models. 3D printed body shells, chassis/underframe and bogies provided. Fox Transfers do some nice decals. Cheers Darius

  13. Thanks Leslie. The Scalescenes kits are good value for money and easy to adapt/modify. Their brick print effect is also more realistic, in my view, than Metcalfe for example, and you don’t have the exposed card corners. Populating the back yards is the fun part. Cheers Darius
  14. The space hopper is made of blue tack and two bits of wire for the horns before painting orange. The “face” was drawn in MS Paint before shrinking down and printing on clear decal paper. Still a bit soft - ok as long is you don’t prod it too much. Cheers Darius
