  1. Eamonn as enjoyable and welcome as the photos always are, nothing beats a nice video clip showing the models doing their thing. I enjoyed that. Rich,
  2. Great to see you back Alan. I missed this thread. It looks like there are busy times ahead, look forward to the next installment's. Rich,
  3. Excellent Eamonn, the models and the layout compliment each other perfectly. Nice job on the wagons BTW. Rich,
  4. I have it on VHS, that's how long ago it was first broadcast. Dick Warner also did a series on the canals. Lot's of the series was reused for Irish Railways in the 21st century even the commentary. Thanks for uploading it Seamus it is well worth a watch. Rich,
  5. You could try the IE architects office or IRRS. Rich,
  6. Excellent Des, the vacuum chamber res looks just right. The ends for the Ammonia wagons scream quality. Rich,
  7. I'll be replacing the lifting rings on mine. The four on the fan end of the loco are a bit overscale to my eyes. Some 071's have the odd lifting ring on other parts of the roof so it is worth checking out pictures. SSM produce lovely wipers. TBH if someone was to produce exact to scale brass horns I might be tempted, but as they are I am happy. Rich,
  8. Good news John, they will be worth the wait. The tin van is such a fantastic kit, and the built model is amazing. No doubt the wagons will be as impressive. I'm really looking forward to them. Rich,
  9. Excellent pics Pat. I think a trip through Continental Europe by rail is something I will have to do some time. I think I would arrange a trip including a return on the channel tunnel as I have a soft spot for St Pancras. I love the model by the way how long has it been in production. The scenery is breath taking. No need to ask if you had a good time. Rich,
  10. There are a million words that could sum that up Richie, mine is quality. Knowing your work ethic and the effort you put in to produce these models the rtr version is a bargain. I will invest in a kit to support you, I won't be disappointed. Rich,
  11. Excellent Richie you have raised the bar even higher again. You must be up to your eyes in work, yet again it is quality and the time and effort put into that finished product makes it truly worth it. Can't wait to see more. Rich,
  12. May not be as bad as thought Fran. Hopefully she won't have to be sent back. Let us know how you get on. Rich,
  13. Well deserved they were the best team and it was a wonderful goal to win it with. I picked Germany and Spain at the start as contenders from Europe, I didn't honestly think Spain would be as shockingly awful as they were. Argentina were my pick from South America. I think a new star was born in James Rodriguez, I can see him being Real Madrid's new toy. I also think he got the best individual goal of the tournament just ahead of Tim Cahill. Chile came out of it with great kudos also. It was a good game in keeping with the majority of the other games and could well be the best World Cop in the last 30 years. Rich,
  14. Many years ago BB used to send the etched sides, and when they were received by the customer he sent on the payment. Bill was a trusting person to deal with, but maybe he has changed the way he does business now, and only gets the brass etched when there are sufficient orders. The etches Noel is using are for the BCK conversions and I think they always looked nicer than the more numerous BSK versions. Nice job on the model Noel it looks sweet. Rich,
  15. Fran I take it that the motors are in the tenders. Is it wired in such a way that both motors won't work against each other. Shame it happened I would have loved to have seen some video of her running. Rich,
  16. Lovely pic Seamus, do you live close. If so you are a lucky boy. Rich,
  17. That's a beast Fran. How does it square up to Heljan's diesel models. Rich,
  18. That's a beast Fran. How does it square up to Heljan's diesel models. Rich,
  19. I enjoyed that Fran good link. It's amazing that it took until the Pendolino and Voyager were produced to have a tilting train in the UK. Rich,
  20. Brilliant resource Stephen. The pic of Waterford Station would make you ask yourself why did they build that monstrosity that is there now. A Dublin architect and his wife released a book in the eighties of their favorite buildings in Ireland and Clonmel Station was among them. The one story building was partly two story in the original drawings but they decided to leave it one story when building it. I have a small copy of a drawing somewhere showing the original plan. 21. If he doesn't learn from it this time he never will. I think that the way he has treated his football club has been a disgrace after all they did to try and help him cut all that behavior out. Also the Manager claiming that it was a witch hunt by the Italian and English FA was pathetic. The fact that he even went as far as to include the English football media in it was laughable when the same football writers voted him their player of the year. What irritates me most is the fact that he stayed on the pitch after it. Antonio Valencia was sent off last night for an over the ball challenge on one of the French players and subsequent replays show that it was accidental as he had made full contact with the ball. The linesman indicated a throw in to France, the ref didn't see it, and it was the fourth official that alerted the ref. He had obviously watched it on the monitor on the touchline, and how he came to the conclusion that it was a foul is beyond me. It makes you wonder why the fourth official didn't see the Suarez incident. Rich,
  22. That will keep you busy Noel, and I bet it will turn out sweet. Rich,
  23. Spoil yourself Des, you have been spoiling us for ages. Rich,
