  1. Wow, 10-15k a year is about as much as the Fry used get iirc, and all the more amazing that it's two lads! I thought it was a 'man shed' type thing with lots of helping hands? Two hardly sounds enough to open the doors and operate the layout, let alone make progress on builds?
  2. Lovely set of pics Dave and congratulations to all in Boyle for getting the planning permission! Do they plan an Irish layout at all?
  3. Classy lady alright They had a very unique style all of their own...

  7. Fantastic!
  8. Edited title for you - good luck with the sale, she's a lovely little thing, and in my favourite livery too
  9. Oh my giddy Aunt! Words fail
  10. Just absolutely stunning compositions as always!
  11. I'd run a siding or small branches off the far curve and split into two or three lines to give you a yard that will double as train storage sidings.
  12. Nice work! Is that the traintronics lighting?

Almost a time warp seeing 201's pulling orange mark 3's!
  15. Oooh, that looks well tasty!!!
  16. What a treat Kirley!! I know I've not made a video in years, but I invested in a small tripod so I can set the camera up, then focus on the train movements for each scene (that's the plan anyway)
  17. You lucky lucky boy
  18. Very very very sharp!!!
  19. Sounds good! At some point you could swap in the new eLink system and go all computery and sound locos
  20. Absolutely gorgeous!
  21. More than enough to be honest. The only trouble you'd get from the select is the lack of higher number functions (especially relevant for sound locos) and (to my mind) the DCC signal isnt as clean as other options. But then again, it's a great value solution, and should work absolutely well for your size layout.
