  1. I'm not unsympathetic to moving home which can very stressful. It might have been better to post these when he was in a position to communicate with buyers in a more timely fashion. I'm not the only interested party who is unhappy about the timeline here. Yes, I will seek them elsewhere, as you guys have suggested. Sorry, Gerard please proceed with the other members. Thanks.
  2. I hate to point this out but it is October and members PM'd you almost three weeks ago about these. It would have been better to state what items were actually for sale per forum rules (running numbers were not included and were immediately requested by a member) and include some photos to confirm condition. I don't understand why sales have not been completed on these items as per your "first-come, first served" PM to us. It would have been preferable to advertize these when you available to sell in the first instance
  3. Unfortunate, something else to rewheel, straight out of the box. Will get some though...
  4. Great tractive but doesn't really appeal...
  5. Noel, this is really great detailed step by step on how to do something that seems somewhat enigmatic to the novice:confused: What a great series with photos of every step I am looking forward to the final installment whenever that will occur. Maybe a moderator will think this worthy of a sticky when it is done:tumbsup:
  6. I wonder if some vendors make extra on the postage and don't want to send it to parcel Motel if they've calculated that postage markup into the original selling price?
  7. I though that Parcel motel signed for the package and that was its final destination as far as the vendor is concerned?
  8. I just wanted to remind everyone that I am still looking for these items and would be very grateful if you have any available that is surplus or see any for sale on eBay etc. please let me know thanks
  9. I'm thinking of using Parcel Motel myself for the occasional items that I want but the UK vendor absolutely refuses to ship overseas! That way I can get someone else to send it or pick it up on the occasional time I'm back in the home country!
  10. Which would be why it's relisted at £5 less http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm?itemId=261608801119
  11. Keep the pictures coming as you go. I need to convert a Bachmann NCC J18 (that I haven't exactly acquired yet) to DCC. Reassured that the Bachmanns do a little better but watching with interest what I'm going to have to do with the chassis!
  12. They're finally up but without photos so I'm glad Seamus put these up! There's just single running number each for the B&T and it's brake I guess?
  13. If anyone from the Rebel County has any shots of this in the past, i would be grateful if you could also get in touch. Thanks in advance.
  14. Are these on their website yet? I didn't see them.......
  15. Noel, didn't you get some good results when you converted older locos to DCC. Maybe older 201s would still be acceptable compared to their newer siblings rather than scrapping them if you already own them. If you're going to purchase, then going with the MMs would probably be far superior
  16. Hi Noel, Your terminus has very complex trackwork with lots of crossovers and double slips etc. if I remember correctly. You may want to post a shot of this for Dhu Varren and consider what the solution is for the whole layout, just in case (say) rewheeling everything solves your problem here only for it to recur when you hit the terminus conversion. Just a thought
  17. Are the Bachmann green coaches in the Irish Railway set, pack and individually prototypical of that period? I know these Marks Models are not but if neither are strictly correct, could we mix and match the greens? Or are the liveries too different? Any thoughts?
  18. Yes, I think it is but it depends on who wants one and how soon. This is not the worst I've seen and they're becoming more scarce, I think. If it's mint it not that bad unless you're a collector ,I guess. Technically all the mint locos sold on here are secondhand too...
  19. It does't say but I think you may be right 42-050 is N and 44-050 is OO, I think. Sorry. THere are others on there
  20. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Graham-Farish-4-Road-Engine-Shed-New-and-Boxed-/161429053207?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item2595ebdf17 No bidders on this at present......... Just call the shops, they'll often ship it even if they say they won't on their site
  21. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bachmann-Murphy-Models-MM0141-CIE-B-Class-00-Gauge-Irish-/261600646655?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item3ce89d15ff
