    I hope not! When I suggested that a re-run of some more popular sold out items might be feasible, I received some replies suggesting the tooling etc for small runs like MM does would not be up to it. Seems like the tooling for the 201s seems to be up to the task again… and again… and maybe yet again?

    I agree with Noel. I had always hoped to see a high(er) speed network built during the Celtic Tiger, the only chance they'd ever have to do this. Most of the existing fleet capable of 100mph but on a tiny minority of the existing track, let alone trying to lay any new track. However, I don't know which is worse lamenting the loss of the Mk3s or IE not having learned from the Buttevant disaster re structural integrity of the coaches and running them all these years, luckily without incident,I think?

Actually was aware of Colm Creedon's book and tried to get a hold of one online recently. I was outbid by a £1! Let me look at these resources. They sound great!!

    There was a great article on Albert Quay including a track layout in one of the Irwell Press magazines and Ernie Shepherds CBSCR (Ian Allen Publishing) includes a lot of good photos of the system in both the steam and diesel era If anyone has a copy of this is good condition that you're willing to part with at a fair price, would you please PM me?     Mike, I am also interested in CBSCR. If you're in West Cork and snap any photos, upload them here or PM me for an email address if that is easier. If you're on the Cork-Bandon road and can shoot any photos of the stone bridges at Half Way, the river bridge crossing at Inishannon or the embankment with road tunnels before reaching Bandon that would be great.     I disagree. We just need to interest the 1.3 billion Chinese with their new found wealth into modeling Irish outline models for nostalgic reasons, produce everything large scale and we can get the price down

    I have collected seventeen MM locomotives since I started back into (now) Irish outline very recently. Only three of these are presently available for purchase at RRP. Every other locomotive has been purchased used for at least the original price or substantially greater than that from a variety of sellers on this site, associated with this site,or on eBay. I have now supported Murphy Models, the priginal model shop/vendor, and the subsequent owner/seller. I expect all who are now flush with my hard earned cash, to support BK and purchase 201s so that I can finally buy a 121!

    Personally I do not like the 201s either. I am likely to buy one or two that have the appropriate river names for purely nostalgic reasons but when the 121s come out I am going to buy a stack of them!

    Hi Noel I am aware there are proxy services but was a little unsure about downloading their programming onto my Mac. Do you have any experience of these that are adware/malware/virus free?
