  1. GNRI 4-6-0 proposal. 61 tons 5,7 drivers 15 ton axle load. would have looked like elongated S class or holton b12
  2. The proposed SG2 class of 1952 firebox modifications and sliding window 4000 gallon F type tender.Also no 803 and 804 deidre and grainne. 803 only got as far as her boiler which was later used for spares

I have to agree with Glenderg.The fact that,par a repaint and a handrailing or two this is just an 08.the fact that you can see the wasp stripes on the back of the cab seems to be pure laziness by the fact they didnt bother to replace the cab or even just skim it down to make it less obvios.As for its running , even on bachmann chassis.None the less silverfox has produced many great models.

  8. Rich,for the wife buy her dinner or something with a few extra bob you "borrowed"then while she is enjoying the dinner quickly say about the rest of the money.Be prepared to run though, it doesnt always work!

  10. the trams are beutiful,especially in that yellow paint job.All the locos look so clean!
  11. all i need now is some new track as the flexitrack that once was the main part of my old layout have practically disintagrated!Off to Marks i go!
  12. the boards up and some spare track laid to show what the terminus will be like . shed and turntable will be on the other side
  13. By the time the AECs were retired in the 70s they had been used to the very best of their abilities.They were in poor internal and external shape and were considered obsolete.However 4 sets survived doing the odd shuttle showing GNR engineers knew what they were doing!

  15. Finally back to work! Some insulation is being put in followed by electricity and the boards get some pics up within the hour (or 2)
