  1. Your layout is well detailed. Even petrol pumps in the village! Could you post more pics of 800 and the Jeep?
  2. 3 201s in the station! I Think you should be head of CIE!
  3. Like your little layout.Having it modular in N gauge sounds a bit frustrating but would have a good sense of accomplishment when finished. Love the 800. Did you use a royal scot as a donor? It certainly looks the part. Well Done
  4. Ok this was already in my workbench but we all knew it was comin.........https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=ncbEucjsNFU
  5. Do you think it looks warped? It may have just been the angle the loco was at because Put it against a ruler and it looked straight to it. The photos I take at the mo are not great because my good camera is eh... pushing up daisys so im hoping to get a new one. So the ye olde phone camera has to be used and I am not a photographer. If you want to PM me about the loco it would be good as your expertise could make me a bit better with crankpins and wiring.
  6. One problem then with the dinghams. Crossovers. I plan to have about 3-4 on my layout
  7. Thanks JM, after looking at the dingham coupler it looks pretty good, It looks right:)
  8. Ok thanks. Do you have any pics of some of those couplers?
  9. I want to use a realistic coupling , and have been told that the 3 link is best but I am unsure how to use them.
  10. Before she goes I will post some pics of 800s body
  11. No 075 was not severly damaged as it kept upright. Sadly the coaches completely disintergrated
  12. Im also glad you brought this up . Amazing looking machine
  13. What would have happened if they kept open the Mullingar Athlone line.Harcourt street(as a standard station)and Alberts quay. Also the Derry Road. all of these seem to be very short sighted closes
  14. I remember seeing that in one of Tom Ferris's films. it was a Wide bridge but they were lucky the didnt have to shelter anything bigger than a Bandon! Such a shame it was all torn down.
  15. Are their any reminents of albert quay and/or the Cork"tramway" left at all? I liked the wonderful signalbox there
  16. Please sir may i have some more......201s ?
  17. Was 90 shunter at glanmire road in the 50s?
  18. alright sound:tumbsup: I nearly forgot what do you use for grass?
  19. Could you post more pics of the station area please?
  20. Quick update.Cant seem to upload the pics.scratch built platforms and engine shed under construction. Once I have all the track laid I will start putting down the ballast.A through station will now be opposite the terminus while the shed and sidings will be between them
  21. Ah all right,that makes sense.sound:tumbsup:
  22. Does that mean the comments deleted are left in the thread they were posted in or are they deleted from the thread
  23. Could have made a good few bob from that Kev! If you look up the Irish Sea railway tunnel the gauge problem is seen as a very large one. They did not mention multi gauge tracks instead multi gauge trains. Not sure which would be cheaper but I would say the tracks.
