  1. Those plates look magnificent!
  2. The site is usually slow to load. Pages within the site are slow too..... Also, the links at the bottom of the page, listed under Shopping with us, and Customer service, take me back to the home page..
  3. It just popped up on Facebook...... 25% off all items on the new site, until midnight on Friday! A discount code, published on FB, is needed at the checkout......
  4. A nice collection of loco builders plates there too! One or two of which I wouldn't mind having!
  5. It doesn't look new to me either..........
  6. I noticed the headlights are switched on, on both ends of the loco... Is this a programming error?
  7. Here ya go.... http://www.railtec-models.com/img/5605-1.jpg Got from here..... http://www.railtec-models.com/scale-model-transfers.php?region=2&type=5&gauge=4mm Quality stuff!
  8. Nice trucks! .... But the two centre axles on the trailer would need to be removed for it to look Irish.
  9. Are there any plans to produce a 2014 calendar? Not many pages left on this year's one now! I for one would like to get another one...
  10. Excellent! Thank you for the links!
  11. Someone will probably give a more detailed reply, but, 121's did run hood first in the early years of service, but that practise was banned after a fatal accident involving a 121 running hood first and some line workers... As for one running in preservation, it would probably be paired with a 141, as was often the case in operation with IE.
  12. Excellent stuff! Thanks for sharing!
  13. I just noticed on Hattons website that these two locos have been released, and are available to buy.... They look very good, except for the steps and grab handles being present on the cab. http://www.ehattons.com/62917/Murphy_Models_MM7071_Irish_Class_071_111_diesel_locomotive_071_in_IE_grey_with_yellow_end_panels_Ltd_/StockDetail.aspx http://www.ehattons.com/62918/Murphy_Models_MM7078_Irish_Class_071_111_diesel_locomotive_078_in_IE_grey_with_yellow_end_panels_Ltd_/StockDetail.aspx
  14. Stock Details No longer available RRP: £33 Is this item actually in stock? No Guess we know who to blame......
  15. No.... it was a once off
  16. So, did anyone go? How was it? I decided against going, when I saw the forecast. Don't tell me Met Eireann messed up my plans yet again, for no reason!
  17. Just noticed this... http://www.ehattons.com/60477/Oxford_Diecast_76IRZ001_Scania_Irizar_PB_Eireann/StockDetail.aspx
  18. The running order for Sunday...... http://flightfest.ie/latest-news/detail/running-order-for-aircraft-at-flightfest-now-available
  19. I just looked at the website, and the A380 is still listed. Had a quick look at their FB page too, and see no mention of it been cancelled. There is some talk of the weather forecast for Sunday being bad, though....
  20. Any time I hear the upturned headlight mentioned, I always wonder why they didn't just place an additional light on the roof of the loco, and leave the headlight alone for it's intended purpose. Surely that couldn't have been any harder to engineer or install?
  21. Contacted Jim, as you suggested. They are indeed sold out...
  22. Does anyone know if Jim's 'M' Expressway buses are sold out?
  23. I think Anthony once recommended a sharp scalpel and a steady hand to remove decals........
  24. Yes, I'd agree. I've seen several photos of the A class plates, even on this site, and I'd say WRENNEIRE's might be the first pic of the C class plate I've seen. How many plates were fitted to each loco? I'm assuming two, one on each side? Anyway, I just need to track one down now.....
  25. I wasn't suggesting you prised it off the side of a C class! lol I mean, it came from a C class.... Any harm to ask how much one of these goes for at auction?
