  1. They look good on the wagons.
  2. That's just beautiful.
  3. Thanks guys, I put this post in the wrong place, so I will post it again in my workbench thread. There might be a slight sag in the middle caused by me gluing a new floor on and didn't notice the bend until it was to late.
  4. This is a NIR Flat bogie wagon to transport rail with two small cranes to lift the rails on & off the wagon. made from an old Hornby car transporter wagon I have had for many years. A new floor and sanctions added and the 2 cranes are hand made. Plus a little CIE 4 wheel flat wagon (Hot topic) made from bits of wagon kits.
  5. Very nice and neat, no messy soldering.
  6. Great pictures especially the first one. And a nice looking layout, love the ballast.
  7. Very nice, just the right amount. You might get a wash plant for Christmas.
  8. Good info there GHB, I would like to see a picture of one of those 5 wheelers. Never heard of that before.
  9. They look great even without paint.
  10. Just think of the possibilities
  11. Fred Dean RIP. I watched the funeral today on YouTube, very sad and gone too soon. His photographs will always be around for us to look at and that is one of his legacies. god bless him and his family.
  12. There was some track laying at Lisburn this weekend. Putting in a new track layout for platform 3. And new points. Nice to catch the road rail excavator as I have just bought a similar one that will get a bit of weathering done to it.

  13. It really is a different world.
  14. I think you will have to move back to sunny Ireland
  15. You might need a Permanent Way teem to keep on top of it.
  16. The weather is having a bad effect on all the wood and needs a lot of maintenance. Would some kind of plastic/PVC used on houses be better than wood?
  17. A little bit of PVA would hold it and would come off again without doing any damage.
  18. This seems to be the case, after a long illness. Sorry to hear this, RIP John.
  19. A nice machine.
  20. Rather you than me, That's a lot of work. Have a rest, put your feet up and have a wee cup of tea.
  21. They are a really nice set and go well with the Oxford Garda vehicles.

If Labour win the next election it might get reversed.

Looking good, once it gets the primer it gives it a very different look.

    I'm Back

This must be killing trade between Ireland & England. Daft. You could contact the shop before you purchase and find out about the VAT charge.
  25. There's a lot of fluff on 079. Nice Ballast wagons. If you can fit a false floor about half way up then add the ballast, so you don't need to fill the whole wagon.
