I think it might need a little more of a pale green tint, but it could just be my screen. To me it looks like a pale blue/grey.

It's a pity after all that work, maybe 10 coats of paint might blend them in a bit

They do look a bit high and even with paint they might be too visible. Test a bit with paint to see how they look.

If you do the grills with fine wire blackened they won't be so visible. And if you paint the van silver you won't need eau- de-nil transfers.

I think 3D printing is the way forward for small runs of niche models. Keep her lit

Great work, so much fiddly bits. There seems to be grills on all of the windows which might look better done with wire instead of flat brass.

That will not hold much, that building looks like a prison. I have one of those road rollers 3D printed still not painted.

I just ordered some from Arran c-rail.

Very nice, they will look good behind a loco or in a goods yard.

IRM H VAN I got a set of IRM H vans and wanted to have a go at weathering them. The upper body was done only with weathering powders and the underframe was done with enamel paint.

That's a nice wagon and looks well. Now take a few days off for Christmas

Just looking at those signal gantries, that would be a scary job going up there.

I am doing some of these just now and I am doing the two versions. The paints I will be using are Humbrol 89 Matt Middle blue and Revell 52 gloss. The curtain sided wagons would be pale blue body and Revell 52 for the curtain. Put the transfers on the curtain which will sit better on the gloss paint. The metal sided wagons will be done with light grey and 89 blue. You can weather them with some light grey and light brown. Seal the transfers with varnish before weathering.

They would be nice to have if someone would print them for you. You would still need underframe, bogies and motor.

Some new wagons weathered and Hunslet 101. Palvans from Enda Byrne (CK Prints) Parkside grey Palvan. Refrigerated Containers on flat wagons. Not numbered or logo like the real thing but with very narrow planks you would need very small numbers. Some new pic's of NIR 101.

There is a few bits of Irish models for sale, but Mark's Models was only there for the Saturday.
