    CIE Brakevan.

    It took a few months to build on and off. The lookouts or duckets were taken from an old brakevan. Here is a pic of my Ploughvan also too short & the duckets made from plasticard it's hard to get the shape just right. the lines on the glass were made by scrapping lines across with a pin & run a black marker over the glass then wet your finger & rub it off then some will stay in the lines that you made.

    Hi Thanks for the comments. The brake pipe is just a bit of guitar string. I never did learn to play that thing.

    Here are a few pic's of a CIE Brakevan that i built. It's not the right length, it's a 10ft wheelbase and i believe it should be 12ft. But i had started to build before i found out about the correct length. To late now.

  11. Hi Guy's, I have a Metcalfe station for sale built by myself & never used. It has been weathered and the front canopy changed. It is like new and made to a high standard. I would like to get around £40. If interested or any questions you can let me know. I live in Belfast and it would be too fragile to post so it would be best if it could be collected. I also have two straight platforms about 3ft long & a very small waiting shelter included. Here is a pic.
  12. Hi, Spotted this Company doing station Signs and Road Signs that you download & priint. They are all Irish signs and printout A5 size for the price of £1.49.   15. I was speaking to Charlie from DC Kits. He now has 40ft & 20ft Bell Containers in stock and he will be at the Bangor Railway Show this April and will have both containers for sale at the show.
  16. Great work on the cement terminal, i would love to build one sometime. The warehouse looks so real and the roof is just amazing. I look forward to see all the Bubbles weathered. Great skill.
  17. Hi gm, I have made some Keg containers by Model Irish Railways and i painted them brown & rust colours then i put just a little blue paint in some places. Here is a pic of one.

  19. Hi Frank, Here is a pic of a tipper that i got of Hattons that tips & the tail gate opens. It is called GUY Big J Tipper £9.DG187012. Hope this does the job.

  22. Anybody got photo's of light signal, old & modern. Also any ground signals would be nice as a guide to modeling please.
  23. It takes about 2 weeks to make 1 Wagon, there is a lot of small parts to make. I don't have a layout but someday i hope to get the trains running. Thanks for all the comments.
