The message of Tara Junction is very clear - if you want to travel efficiently, stay off the roads ! 😉 Nice photo

Indeed, in the real world If heuston was connected directly to dart or metro, a train would be quicker than car, but for work car is 1hr faster to get to cork. By the time one gets to heuston by car or Luas a car would be half way to cork on the motorway. A pity but a great shame the recent metro plans didn’t link heuston with dart underground or metro. Sadky tge  The motorways are better and better food on route.

Great picture once again - now getting busy in the sky over Tara Junction, joining the Are Lingus 747 - a so much nicer livery than the rather anonymous current EI livery conforming to the corporate style of the wider IAG group.

It’s rush hour on the high street as EI-BED takes off over the bus garage heading for Washington.

Had many a memorable jump seat on those old 100 series, they had steam gauge analogue cockpit instrumentation but at least had INS so no need for astro sights. Had 5 engines slung under the wings on occasion.

A spare is always handy.
