I think that just about covers it, but you missed the roofs. 😆

By special request, I stumbled up the little hill behind the reefer and climbed onto a little wall thing, just for you...

CMA CGM reefer parked off the TF1 at the Chio roundabout, and a Transatlantica box in Chio that looks like it's been repurposed to house a generator or something.

Nice catch, Dave. My favourite of present day boxes.

ContainerShips and MSC kind of stand out because of the colours. Both are very striking. MSC seem to keep their containers in very good condition, too, compared to most of the others.

A lot of the 20' boxes here are HC, not 8'6", so the MSC's stand out because of that, too.

They were unloading it at an apartment complex undergoing refurbishment. Could have been fancy Irish interior decor stuff.

I like the old Daimler-Benz commercial vehicles, they have plenty of character. The one in the photograph above much be fairly ancient.

Fairly ancient but fairly common here.

I suspect that it's a combination of climate, economic situation and the older generation not having that throw-away mentality of today. Lots of shiny new cars on the roads here but lots of cars that you wouldn't have seen in Ireland the past twenty years.

Video and a few stills of him trundling past, with Boluda and Tex cameos on the TF1 behind, at the end - colour is a bit off as the original video was almost all just shadows so I had to lighten it up like crazy and drop the contrast.

A few random boxes just before the turn-off for Ifonche, at the bottom of La Escalona just now. There are some sort of apparently abandoned construction projects on both sides of the road, so I'm assuming that these boxes have been bought / borrowed / rented / stolen for something to do with the projects.

Just now, off the TF-1 at the Chio roundabout, a Seatrade reefer. Don't remember ever seeing one of these before. Only 8'6" tall, so looks tiny compared to the usual Boluda and OPDR 20' dry boxes.

Two more boxes, TGHU-4377469 and NOWU-8349600, look like they're being used for longterm storage, in Guia de Isora.

So, after a quick internet search, TGHU is TEX and NOWU is Norwood Shipping in Valencia!

Just waiting for @MOGUL to tell us if that one was full of SQ sausages and Tayto crisps...

Nah, too small for that, you’d have it cleared out in a week and be looking for more! We only use the20ft reefers to send stuff to New Caledonia(pop 270000) these days.. It’s even more out there islandy than your island @DJ Dangerous!

A Nice Cronos 6,1m x 2,9m / 20' HC (CRTU-0700874) near IKEA in San Miguel back on Tuesday 22nd.

Container hotspot there, almost always something interesting.

Have a few more since then to add as well.

Trailer looks to have an extra metre or so to spare, wierd length for a trailer, no?

Sorry, @MOGUL, I know that you're suffering from withdrawal the past few days.

A few photos from August 4th at IKEA La Laguna...

Yes, I'm behind, but these past few months have gone by in a blur.

Not sure if I've even taken any more container pictures, for shame.

21st of August up around Chio, what looks like a grounded "Linea Messina" box.

Never heard of Linea Messina before.

Looks like NOWU-0128898 is the registration number.

NOWU is Norwood Shipping in Valencia, who we last came across on July 18th, on another grounded box.

Norwood look to have been absorbed by, taken over by, or morphed into, Tymsa, also Valencia based.

On another note, Boluda have launched a Santander to Dublin service this week, so we might see some of your weird boxes up this way

More pressure on @Arran to tool some palletwide 45's!
