Yup, I was way off.

Have since found the forum thread on the @Brian Collins Enterprises commission:

Out of stock on his website, presumably long since sold out, pity I missed out on them!

No X20 route anymore - which is crazy. It was great for me, as from Athlone to Dublin, it was a straight run up the M6/M4. During the summer, always plenty of tourists in Busaras taking it down to Galway. Yet, the route was canned - go figure!

Anybody on the fence needs to get off it, and quickly.

Fifty available to pre-order yesterday afternoon, less than ten available, now.

We put 120 units on sale, all gone now !

Hi everyone,

BACK IN STOCK in very limited numbers is the Bus Éireann Expressway Scania Irizar tri axle coach. Perfect for your OO layout and/or your bus collections, this popular item continues to sell out double quick but we have secured further, limited supplies.

We cannot guarantee Christmas delivery, but it's worth grabbing one before they sell out! https://irishrailwaymodels.com/products/irizar-i6-bus-eireann-expressway-tri-axle-coach-route-x8-dublin-airport?_pos=1&_sid=8c74d7d4a&_ss=r

Don't forget our own exclusive commissions of the Britbus Dublin Bus Olympian double deck bus in coastal tours livery, with stock running low. More commissions coming in 2023!

Cheers!

I've no idea why, but for some reason I never developed an interest in buses. Some fine models available these days. I generally don't put roads on layout scenery so little need of vehicles. However a tractor in a field or a truck in a goods yard adds visual interest. I've a pal who collects trucks and buses and has made amazing display cases for his collection.
