Perhaps worth asking there with the works number so they can search the drawing register. They have an archivist, and there is a charge for drawings, but they'll tell you how much upfront.

Rob R Posted July 30, 2025 Posted July 30, 2025 Thank you. The GNR(I) loco book is a little sparse in A class details, not much beyond the wheelbase (7ft 3in+7ft 3in) but has a very nice drawing for the J class 440 though (Black Lion, Glencar).
GNRi1959 Posted January 11 Posted January 11 PRONI in Belfast have an extensive GNR(I) wagon book of drawings as I photographed many of them 1

The scans available from the IRRS are from a copy of the wagon diagram book that never got the extra pages. Though it does detail the CIE/UTA split of wagons by hand-written annotations. Just wondering if the Belfast copy had been updated with the later designs. 1
Antony Posted January 15 Posted January 15 I have a collection of GNRI wagon drawings on my PC, the basic outlines, as is usual. I could post a list, or upload any that are asked for, if that's what anyone would like. Probably about 60-ish of wagons, also locos and coaches. 1 2
flange lubricator Posted January 16 Posted January 16 That would be great any drawings of the GNR bulk /hopper cement wagons built 1953 ? 1

Agreed - I would be interested in those too. GNR 4-wheel grain hopper/vans would also be of great interest to me, as illustrated in this thread: https://irishrailwaymodeller.com/topic/19729-cie-bulk-grain-vans-a-study-of-the-variations/#findComment-274863
Antony Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I can't find any 4-wheel grain wagons, but here are some cement ones. 1 1
Mol_PMB Posted January 16 Posted January 16 (edited) Ah, excellent! That's a really useful addition to the pool of information on GNR wagons. Thank you! Interestingly, the cement hopper diagram is not quite consistent with what I was expecting, but the split into 3 parallel discharge chutes certainly helps to clarify the design. A couple of pics below from Ernie and Jonathan Allen; there are more on the IRRS Flickr: Edited January 16 by Mol_PMB second/third sentence and pics
