Darius43 Posted October 11 Author Posted October 11 Base colours applied. Once this is dry, rather a lot of spoil and gravel needs to be affixed. Cheers Darius 7
Darius43 Posted October 12 Author Posted October 12 After getting plastered, we get stoned. Cheers Darius 5 2
Patrick Davey Posted October 12 Posted October 12 Loving the small details such as the building & road vehicle beside the bridge and the steps descending to the railway. Brilliant. 1 1
Darius43 Posted October 15 Author Posted October 15 Second scenic module takes shape. Cheers Darius 5
Darius43 Posted October 17 Author Posted October 17 Quarryside scenic background completed. Cheers Darius 8 3
Mol_PMB Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Darius, this is all looking excellent, and coming together at your usual breakneck speed. Superb work. 1 1

Galteemore Posted Sunday at 16:23 Posted Sunday at 16:23 (edited) There are no words …..that view under the bridge Edited Sunday at 16:30 by Galteemore 4 1
Patrick Davey Posted Sunday at 20:08 Posted Sunday at 20:08 A better representation of Magheramorne than Magheramorne itself! Superb 1 1
Darius43 Posted Monday at 02:25 Author Posted Monday at 02:25 Still a bit too neat and tidy - needs some spoil spills, sleeper stacks, random bushes etc. Photos of the site show random concrete slabs, so I placed these over the omega loop pits of the point control system - to protect them. Cheers Darius 1
David Holman Posted Monday at 06:07 Posted Monday at 06:07 Definitely coming to life and it is those fine details which help.
Galteemore Posted Monday at 17:01 Posted Monday at 17:01 If IRM ever do produce a Jeep, at least the backdrop for the publicity shots is sorted. Fabulous 3 1
leslie10646 Posted Monday at 23:24 Posted Monday at 23:24 Just brilliant, Darius. Others have puzzled over how you did it so quickly - you might remind them that you are a KING and simply get your people to get on and do your bidding ....... Perhaps I'll change my name to Xerxes, or Rameses ........ 1 2

Darius43 Posted Wednesday at 09:01 Author Posted Wednesday at 09:01 NIR MPD No.63 enters Magheramorne Loop with a light goods working to Larne. A short time later, NIR 70 Class No. 71 “River Bush” passes en route to Belfast York Road. Cheers Darius 5
Mayner Posted Wednesday at 09:56 Posted Wednesday at 09:56 My one and only journey over the Larne line was on a IRRS outing to Larne during the early 80s out via the Enterprise to Belfast Central, bus transfer to York Road 2 car special to Larne and Antrim worked by River Maine and driving trailer car, out non-stop to Larne, visit to Whitehead and lunch in hotel with train crew!. Reversed at Bleach Green Junction (points apparrently operated by hand) and stopped at every level crossing to Antrim where we transferred to a Derry-Belfast service changing to the up evening Enterprise at Lisburn. Apart from Whitehead one of the highlights was gricing outs of service stock including some MPD cars from the Motorway ramp at York Rd. Too late to see a working MED or MPD but Whiterock certainly brings back memories of a 'Great day out" of over 40 years ago. 2

Mol_PMB Posted Wednesday at 18:36 Posted Wednesday at 18:36 Especially with the current scandal about the grand old Duke of York, royal connections may not be something people want to admit… 1
